Title: James the Martyr

There lived a man named Zebedee in Galilee.

He was rich enough to own a boat and have a servant in the household.

One day, while they were helping their father, they, along with Peter and Andrew, were called by Jesus and became disciples of Jesus and followed him.

John became an apostle of love, and James became the first apostle willing to be martyred for righteousness' sake.

James is a quick-tempered but righteous and courageous man.

One day, when he was exhausted and wanted to rest, he begged the Samaritans for a place to rest, but was politely refused.

Thirsty and exhausted, the disciples got angry over the unkind hospitality and wanted to be swept away with fire and brimstone.

But in the latter days, James went as far as Samaria to preach the gospel.

James is a believer with good decisions.

James followed Jesus, leaving behind many inheritances from his refusal father.

All of the disciples were poor except for Judas, who was from the south.

There was not much left to throw away, so he was able to follow Jesus without difficulty.

Everyone who wants to be a great believer! Faith is a decision.

It requires a determination to risk your life.

Faith is another meaning of giving up.

James was the first great martyr as a disciple of the Lord.

Full-scale tribulation and persecution began in the church.

James was martyred and Peter was imprisoned.

After experiencing the resurrection of Jesus, he went to Spain to evangelize.

In order to fulfill the will of Jesus to come to the ends of the earth and become an inner witness (Acts 1:8), he took a boat to Spain, which was thought to be the end of the earth at the time, and stayed there for a long time, establishing many churches and preaching the gospel.

The apostle James is beheaded by beheading with a sword by the man written as Herod Aqippa I.

His ashes are said to be buried in a temple called “Comrostella” in present-day Spain.

Of the 12 disciples, only Judas Iscariot and James the martyr, who betrayed Jesus and committed suicide out of remorse, were the only ones whose death was recorded in the Bible.

Everyone who has decided to believe in Jesus! The prize in heaven is said to be the greatest prize for martyrdom.

Let's all live as martyrs and evangelize with the spirit of martyrdom!
