Title: Jehoshaphat of Blessing

Bible Text: 2 Chronicles 17:10-19 Title: Jehoshaphat the Blessing
Jehoshaphat does what pleases God, and God is great to him.
He gave a blessing, and his appearance was Immanuel (verse 3).
Salvation is also with God (Matthew 1:23)
Heaven is to be with God forever. (Revelation 21)
1. He made no adversaries. (verse 10)
Let Micah 7:7-8 be engraved on our hearts!
“But I look to the Lord, and I look to God who saves me.
my God will hear me
Do not rejoice over me, my adversary; though I fall, I will rise.
Even if I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light.”
Let's meditate on Joshua 1:5-9.
“No one will be able to withstand you all the days of your life, just as I was with Moses.
I will be with you; I will not leave you nor forsake you.
Be strong, be courageous, you are this people, and I
I swear I will give you the land you promised.
But be strong and very courageous, as my servant Moses commanded you
Keep the law and do it; do not turn to the left or to the right, and you will prosper wherever you go.
Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth, and meditate on it day and night, which is written in it.
Be careful to do all that you say, and your way will be smooth, and you will prosper.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous
Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed, wherever you go, the LORD your God
I am with you.”
2. He gave us riches and honor and a strong city. (verses 10-19)
10 The LORD feared the nations all around Judah, so that they would not fight against Jehoshaphat.
11 Of the Philistines, they brought gifts to Jehoshaphat, and silver offerings.
And the Arabs also offered herds of animals, seven thousand and seven hundred rams and seven thousand and seven hundred goats.
12 Jehoshaphat grew stronger and stronger, and he built strongholds and treasuries in Judah.
13 He did a lot of work in every city of Judah, and he had great valiant soldiers in Jerusalem.
14 These were the number of the soldiers according to their clans. Among the commanders of the thousand who belonged to Judah,
Adna became the first and had three hundred thousand great warriors.
15 Next was Jehohanan the captain, who had two hundred and eighty thousand.
16 Next is Amaziah the son of Zikri, who will gladly present himself to the LORD.
The lord had two hundred thousand great warriors.
17 Of those belonging to Benjamin, Eliada, a mighty warrior, had two hundred thousand men with bows and shields.
18 Next was Jehoshaphat, with one hundred and eighty thousand men prepared for battle.
19 All these were the king's servants, and besides all of Judah the king had soldiers in the fortified cities of all Judah.
Like Jehoshaphat, let us live a life that depends only on Hanani, who is Emmanuel, and hopes only for Him.
