Title: Jehovah's Zeal (Isaiah 09:6-7)

Contents Synopsis “Wonderful person”: The original word Pele means mausoleum and extraordinary It is a word that describes the divine authority of Jesus Christ. “Counselor”: A clever person, a wise person.

People around the world are zealous for different goals. Some of these zeal are very evil. Saul's zeal to kill David, Jezebel's zeal to kill Elijah, the zeal of the Pharisees to kill Jesus, and Saul's zeal to put believers in Jesus, these zeal were all evil zeal contrary to God's will. . After all, human beings are zealous beings, whether they are right or wrong. This implicitly shows that man was created in the image of God. The fact that God has zeal itself, even though it can itself be distorted by man, proves that man is made in God's image. And in order for human beings to develop the right zeal, first of all, we must know about God's zeal. Of course, the Bible does not specifically teach about God's zeal. However, the phrases in which the word zeal is used have a common meaning. Only after learning about their common meaning will we be able to apply it to our own lives.

1. He is sending the Messiah.

2. He establishes the Messianic Kingdom.

And it is a nation where there is no invasion by the Gentile nations, and peace is endless and it is a nation that will stand firm forever (verse 7). As Jesus came to this earth, the kingdom of the Messiah has come. And Jesus accomplished all of His work by taking up the cross and resurrecting Him. In this sense, the kingdom of God has been established on this earth. If so, how should we understand the suffering and evil that the saints are experiencing today? Because of Jesus, the kingdom of God has been established in this world. But the wheat and tares still exist in this country. Therefore, the country is not yet complete. After all the events recorded in the book of Revelation, the kingdom will be complete.

Dear saints,

We are living beings longing for the kingdom of God. That is why we must be zealous for the kingdom of God. The fact that human history is moving toward the completion of the Messianic kingdom shows that all God's plans and actions are focused on this goal. And just as God has been zealous for this one goal throughout history, when we have the same zeal, that zeal will work in the right direction. When a believer loses his zeal, other worldly zeal replaces his zeal, and his life can never glorify God. Therefore, no matter what the saints do, their goal should be to firmly establish the kingdom of God. Since the direction of a person's life is determined by the goals and values he has, the believer should carefully examine whether his goals and values are fixed toward the kingdom of God.
