Title: Jehovah Is on Our Side
Contents Hymn 253 “Leading to Salvation”? Chapter 265 “Follow the Right Way, the Way of Righteousness”
Saints who are convinced that Jehovah God is on our side! Looking back on the year... Is it confessed that Jehovah God is our help? In Psalm 124, the poet confessed that he was on our side to God, who helped him in many dangers. The poet found himself freed from the psychology of certain dangers, dangers to come, and dreadful dangers. The psalmist, who felt safe and secluded from God's protection from the evil crowd, exhorted all Israel (John 3:19-21).
First, what would we be if the Lord were not on our side? (Psalm 124:1-5)
The poet was convinced of the existence of God and His help. And if it weren't for the God of Israel... What results did the Israelites experience? I asked again. The Gentiles and their staff members of the unbelieving forces that make up the environment must have always plagued Israel like a fierce lion. Also, they are not in shallow dangers such as swamps or ditches, but in a condition like a trap in a deep brook and waves of anger. Because God is on our side, they have come to appreciate the redemption of safety and peace. What would have happened by now if you had drunk the overflowing sins of the past and became a soul swallowed up in it? And the poet recalled.
Second, what if Jehovah God had not removed the snare? (Psalm 124:6-8)
God breaks the snare of our sins with the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ and the fire of love (John 13:34-35). Also, when the devil shouts with a whirlwind of evil emotions and evil, the poet's soul seeks God and asks for salvation. Each time, the Lord sorted out the problem of immediate danger and gave the poet the realization that he calmly solves it on the knees of prayer. Therefore, the poet could sing a hymn and create a hymn of thanks. That's right. The way out of the whirlpool and den of evil is through praise and prayer. An animal caught in a trap set by a hunter hopes to escape from the trap and snare, even if it is wounded. Just as birds long for freedom, so sinners long for freedom. Therefore, the poet confesses that the only way to break free from the snare of sin is with God's help. Therefore, the poet is out.
Dear saint! The one who helps sinners is Jehovah God, who made the heavens and the earth. We confess that we are sinners. Also, thank you for the washing away of sins by the blood of the Lord. Each time we confess with our lips that God, our Lord, is our refuge, our stone of help, and our side. Therefore, from now on, let's find the most reasonable conclusion of impartiality. -Amen-
Our Lord Jesus Christ! They did not know the doubts of redemption (Matt. 14:31), their lack of faith (Mt 21:21), and they did not know for sure (Acts 10:20).
