Title: The Lord Is With You
To explain the text, after David ascended to the throne, the surrounding nations began to send a hand of reconciliation to King David and Israel.
Among them, King Hiram of Tire liked King David so much that he sent envoys and cedar wood, carpenters, and stone-breakers to help them build the Palace of David. Not only that, but the Philistines, who had suffered so much, were also defeated.
As David thought about these things, he realized that everything was God's grace.
1. Why David grew stronger and stronger
First, God is with us.
The second is to believe and understand the God who is with you.
The family gets stronger, the throne gets stronger... That is why God is with us. Believers can and must believe this faith.
※However, those who want to have God on my side should not forget that they must stand on the path of righteousness. To say that God is on my side while doing evil and committing sins is dishonoring God.
The Bible introduces God as Jehovah, the God of hosts.
Jehovah God of hosts can also be translated as Jehovah, the God who has a heavenly host of angels.
His kingdom had become strong enough to be recognized both internally and externally. It is the result of Jehovah, the God of hosts, being with David.
In other words, God Himself led the heavenly army to defeat David's enemies.
David's Enlightenment Foolish people do not realize the grace given to them, and sometimes they are rather ungrateful.
David fully realizes the grace of God and confesses in front of all people.
2. Believing that the Lord has made him king and confessing in front of all
David acted as king in Hebron for 7 years and 6 months, and when David was 30 years old, he was established as an orthodox king amid the prosperity of all Israel.
This is the fulfillment of God's promise. In the face of many betrayals and exiles, God who protected David in the trenches of countless days of war, finally made David the king of Israel. David did enough to suffer. Therefore, only one car that can boast of one's hard work and will gives glory to God.
3. David testifies that God has exalted Israel
God exalts and brings down, kills and makes alive. In other words, God is sovereign over all.
God exalted Israel, ruled by David, to neighboring powers.
God exalts those who honor God and honor God's temple.
God exalts David, who has exalted himself to a low position, and God exalts him,
God brought Saul down, who exalted himself.
Christians must receive the grace of God's presence anytime, anywhere.
