Title: Jehovah Nissi / Exodus 17:8-16
Content Sermon Title Jehovah Nissi
The Bible Exodus 17:8-16
It can be said that a person's life is like fighting a fierce battle in a war. Whether you live or die, or whether you win or lose, determines whether you live a happy or unhappy life.
Therefore, I hope that you will become a saint who always wins in any battle and in any place. When the world's wars lose their country, they become enslaved, suffer pain and suffering, and lose their freedom, leading to severe conflicts. If you lose to the devil, you can only serve as a servant of the devil, and if you lose to the devil, you can only become a sick person. I want to have a history of blessing the soul, family, church, nation and nation through a victorious life. Today's text reads that Moses built an altar and called "Jehovah Nissi", that is, "Jehovah Nissi", because the Israelites who had left Egypt had a great victory in the battle against the powerful Amalek while they crossed over to the Red Sea, drank miraculously from the spring of Meribah, ate manna, and marched toward Canaan. That was my flag. The flag is a symbol that gives courage and strength in war and gives a sense of belonging. It is a sign of certainty that those who believe and follow Jehovah God will be victorious. In the future war, we want to rely only on God. I want to have a life. 1. I need to realize what I need to do right now and do it (verses 9, 12)
2. We must come together and work together. (verses 10-12)
3. Only God's grace and power. (verses 14-16)
Let me finish my speech.
In the past, Moses glorified God with praise for His grace. (Exodus 15: ) However, after the first battle, he built an altar to God and named it “Jehovah Nissi”. It was the first time I offered a sacrifice (worship) to God. Therefore, the center of all worship should be worship that gives thanks for God's grace, and we need to know how important worship is. Before we received the Ten Commandments and the system, we had already worshiped God to build an altar of thanksgiving for God's grace. We want you to experience God's work of finding and blessing us by worshiping in spirit and truth, not by human sight. (John 4: 23) Dear saints! If you want to become the victor of Jehovah Nissi only with God's grace and power, you will become a victor in worship and enjoy the blessings of this year's blessings and prosperity. I bless you in the name of the Lord.
