Title: Jesus' concerns/John 4:34

Contents Jesus' concerns/John 4:34

Then, let's think together about what Jesus was interested in. Jesus' attention was not on the "famous" and "influential" leaders, whether religious, political or economic. Jesus was not interested in himself, nor in the nation of Israel, nor in the religion of the Hebrews. Jesus was not concerned with the restoration of Jerusalem or Israel. He even foretold the decline of the nation of Israel. Jesus did not care about any country in this world. He said, “My kingdom is not of this world” (John 18:36). Jesus was not concerned with the economic growth of individuals or nations. He said that he had no interest in the distribution of his brother's property (Luke 12:14).

Jesus' interests were cross, marginal, pagan, and heavenly. Jesus' concern was the atoning and atoning death, and the salvation of all nations and tribes. Jesus' attention was directed to the sick, sinners, Gentiles, prostitutes, tax collectors, children, and women, and to the lepers, Roman centurions, paralytics, hemorrhagic, blind, demon-possessed and deaf people, and Samaria. He turned to the woman, the thirty-eight-year-old sick woman, and the adulterous woman. And Jesus' concern was more compassion and forgiveness than anger and condemnation. Just before his ascension, Jesus directed his disciples' attention to the ends of the earth and to heaven.

Now let me quote some passages from the Bible. “Jesus went throughout all Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness” (Matthew 4:23). “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5:44). “I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners” (Matthew 9:13). “He left Judea and went back to Galilee, and came to a town in Samaria called Sychar” (John 4:3-5). “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them everything I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20). “Weep together with those who weep” (Romans 12:15).

"Dear Father: With God's grace and Father's love, I am doing well. On Chuseok, I went down to the countryside with the children and made fun times. Helping with the farm work and making dumplings together... I have such a beautiful moment I am well aware that it is all the grace of God and the love of the Father that makes them all possible. Father, I am living hard now and I am working hard to live a more diligent life. I am also working hard in my religious life. Father and daughter in China. Chun-hee's "(08.9.19)

Where should we put our attention? It is easy for us instinctively to place all our attention on our own comfort and peace and our own success and honor. Jesus said that he did not focus on his own eating and drinking, but on doing God's will and accomplishing his work. Then he went to a Samaritan woman who was in despair and offered her kind love and a helping hand (John 4:34). The Apostle Paul confessed that he did not focus his attention on his own gain or joy, but whether he eats or drinks or whatever he does, for the glory of God, and for the good and joy of all and many (1 Corinthians 10:31-31). 33). I hope we can focus our attention on that of Jesus and the Apostle Paul. I hope you can put it on the cross and around you, in the Gentiles and in Heaven. We think we must now turn our attention and eyes to low, to darkness, to lamentation, and to weeping. I'm giving away some of the articles I've recently written.
