Subject: Jesus' Last Prayer
Verse: John 17:1-26
The first part is Jesus' prayer for himself, and the second part is for me.
These are the words of prayer for the people. Heavenly Father has accomplished the salvation of mankind.
Now that I have completed all the missions that you have commanded me to take, I am going to the Father. Jesus
He prays to 'glorify' himself. Jesus is not in this world
glorified the virgin What Jesus Fulfilled in this World to the Father
We are informing you of That is, as the Father commanded, 'with the only God and
His Son, Jesus, was made known to the world.” knowing that
We are reaffirming this 'eternal life'. By revealing these facts to my father,
He prayed for it to be glorified. This prayer is offered to the Father on earth.
It is also the last prayer.
Next, he prays for the disciples. The liver is cut off and the disciples are grieving
Saying goodbye to the field. Verse 11 says, “I have no more in the world.
No, but the disciples are in the world, and I go to the Father.
Holy Father, preserve the disciples in your name, which you have given me.
May the disciples become one as we are." Here, 'Like us,
' refers to God and Jesus. That is, just as the Father and the Son are one
It is a plea for all disciples and believers to become one.
Jesus said that everyone in this world will hear the words of Jesus and be saved.
But there was only one man, Judas Iscariot, who lamented that he was perishing.
said (Psalm 4:9) And the world came to hate them,
He prays that He will keep you from falling into evil even if you are helped.
Just as Jesus came and lived in this world and was not of this world,
Believers also live in this world, but earnestly claim that they are not of this world.
He is calling out to God the Father. the Father sent Jesus into the world
Likewise, Jesus said, "He sent his disciples into the world." this word
This is a very important point. Jesus exhorted our believers and said,
' sent. So believers are in this world, but do not belong to the world.
He has a mission to glorify his father.
The last verse says, “I made your name known to them, and I made it known to them.
so that the love that loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Even if Jesus went to Heavenly Father, God’s love
It is a fervent prayer to be forever in this world.
