Title: Jesus' Request Before Ascension
Jesus lived a life of symbiosis for three years, died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later.
The 40 days before the Ascension were a good time for the disciples.
It was enough to convince me of the resurrection and it was a period to organize the kingdom of God that I had learned over the past three years and prepare for a new ministry.
When the disciples ask Jesus when he will restore the kingdom of God, they say that it is not up to you and rather ask the disciples.
1. Do not leave Jerusalem Jerusalem is the place where Jesus suffered and rose from the cross and accomplished the work of salvation for mankind, the center of truth, the New Testament ground, and the place where the Word was prophesied.
Jerusalem means church.
There is a temple in Jerusalem.
Jesus told us to live a temple-centered, church-centered, faith-centered life.
Just as the Israelites lived 40 years in the wilderness, they always lived centered on the tabernacle, so we believers must also live centered on the church.
2. Wait for the Father's promise. The Father's promise means being filled with the Holy Spirit.
To be filled means to be controlled by the Holy Spirit.
Our mind is like a vessel.
It comes out depending on what you put in it.
What is controlling our minds?
Do the world's lusts, honor, power, knowledge, and evil sin rule?
We always yearn for the filling of the Holy Spirit, and when the Holy Spirit reigns over us, we can overcome any tribulations, worries, and worries.
3. Be My Witnesses The Bible says that the church must always take a transforming stance toward the world.
You are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14) You are the salt of the world (Matthew 5:13) You are the fragrance of Christ (2 Corinthians 2:15)
We must live our lives to change the world.
A witness is a life that preaches the gospel.
Dear saints!
let's evangelize
I hope that you will remember Jesus' last request and live the life of a faithful witness.
