Title: Jesus and Food / Luke 9:10-17
Contents Jesus and Food / Luke 9:10-17
When Jesus Christ sent his disciples on an evangelistic journey, he commanded them to receive hospitality and to carry out the evangelism ministry. Now the disciples returned and were with Jesus, and now they are in a position to serve. I didn't know it well when I was treated, but now it is quite difficult to stand in the position of being responsible for the food of the crowd.
At this time, we should pay attention to the fact that there are disciples who gave their things to the teacher, Jesus Christ. He must have known the attitude of giving up his own things because he had the experience of receiving it. This brought amazing results when the prayer of Jesus Christ fell upon it.
Jesus is showing us how he takes responsibility for us who are God's people. This is the transmission of faith that starts in the Garden of Eden, goes through life in the wilderness, and continues to those who became God's people through the days of the prophet Elisha. Moreover, we cannot but receive the fact that God feeds us through miracles that are enough to surprise us. This is giving freely and unconditionally as the burden of the giver.
Our Daegu Jeil Church is also working hard for this work. There are not many things, such as free on-demand meals and lunch boxes of love, but we are trying our best to live a life of sharing with all our heart. In addition, we too have to confess that we are receiving a lot of food from God, and rather, we are living in abundance. The biggest question is whether or not we live with that grace.
We should think about what we have to offer before our Lord Jesus Christ. Through this, we need to think deeply about what great things God is also trying to accomplish. I believe that when the blessing of the hand of Jesus Christ comes from what we have given, the amazing grace that we do not know will appear, which will be the testimony that will increase our faith.
