Title: Jesus as Head
Content: The Child Jesus Loves More
There are many people in the church.
nice car vs subway
Pretty clothes vs the same clothes every day
A child who answers well vs a child who just sits
Children who sing praises and dances well vs. Children who just can't sing well (Praise others alone...)
Most Popular Children vs Unpopular Children at School (Number of Friends Who Come to a Birthday Invite)
Quiz: Which child does Jesus love more?
A child in pretty clothes? Or a child with good answers? Or a child who wears the same clothes every day? Or is it just a child who always keeps his mouth shut?
Jesus loves all children.
And I want all those dear children to come to Jesus together, not separately. You want friends who gather to worship together and love each other as one body.
Things Jesus mourns
what's going on
Even at church, there are children who can't make friends because their friends bully them? Really?
Are there children like princes and princesses who are better than others in the church? Really.
Did Jesus have a better chance to meet popular and cool children? Yes?
It is not. Jesus loves you all equally. And we want each other to love each other and go to church because we are children who are equally loved by Jesus. Even the ugly me next to me is loved by Jesus. That little girl in front of me, who looks like a pretty princess, is also loved by Jesus. Jesus loved me and called me to church today. Can I hate that friend? Am I higher than Jesus?
interesting story
One day the hand said to the foot.
'You smell so bad. What the hell are you, attached to your body? I want you to disappear.' 'Look at me, I have such a pretty ring and I've colored it pretty well.'
Then the foot spoke.
'Hey, you're only doing bad things every day. You beat up your friend yesterday too and stole your brother's food because he said it was delicious. I hate being with you.'
the hand said
'If you do, I won't wash you from now on. I don't even want to touch your dirty spots.'
I said feet.
'So do i. From now on, I want you to go, but I will never let you go.'
Since the next day, I did not wash my feet with my hands, so my feet got athlete's foot and my feet didn't go the way I wanted, so my hands got dirty. What would happen to this person if this really happened? Probably because my hands don't lift the spoon with my hands, and my feet don't go to eat with my feet, so I'm going to starve to death.
To keep your hands and feet clean and healthy, you need to listen carefully to what your head is saying.
The Bible says that we are hands and feet in one body. So who is the head? Yes, it is our Jesus.
Why go to church
Ok. The church is like the body to Jesus. Jesus, the head, asked his disciples one day. why do you follow me
① Said the first disciple. The clothes that Jesus wore are so cool.
② Said the second disciple. If you go with Jesus, you can become popular with people.
③ Said the third disciple. If you go with Jesus, you can eat delicious bread and fish dishes.
Then a disciple said, 'Because Jesus is the God who loves us.' This disciple was a true follower of Jesus.
Do you know why children come to church today? Be sure to remember I came to meet Jesus. I didn't come here to gain popularity, to see a great evangelist, or to eat delicious snacks.
So what to do? - Friends love
The friends who came to see Jesus have something to do at church. It is just loving the friends and teachers next to you who came to meet Jesus. Because Jesus loves those friends as much as I do. Because they want to see them as much as they want to see me. Children who really meet and love Jesus at church, please be kind to all the friends Jesus loves. Listen carefully to the words of the teacher whom Jesus loves.
Then, as we memorized today, we will become a good church with Jesus as our head and all of us as one body.
prayer topic
I pray.
Am I meeting Jesus today? no. You can't see Jesus. Jesus is not a face-to-face meeting. While listening to the Word while praising, above all else, you can close your eyes and pray with your heart.
Speak to Jesus. Jesus I want to meet Jesus. It's now.
If it still seems that Jesus is not by my side or in me, think about whether I am still thinking about something else in the church. Think about whether you have a friend you don't like on your mind. If you have other thoughts and hatred, you cannot meet Jesus. No matter how loudly Jesus calls you to love you, you cannot hear him. Let's pray together. "Jesus, I want to meet you. If you have other thoughts or hateful thoughts in me, please forgive me. Please let me love you."
