Verse 4 says that Jesus was standing by the seashore, but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. Even today, church members do not know the Lord who is next to them.
He came to those who forsook the Lord.
They forsook Jesus and all went away.
In the text, the disciples abandoned Jesus and left. They all left when Jesus was arrested. They threw away the cross of Jesus. I just watched the sufferings of Jesus from afar. And when they heard the news that Jesus had risen, they were afraid and went to the sea of Tiberias to catch fish. This is a betrayal of the Lord. But the Lord has found you. You came close. This is love. Grace. Some of you may have given up believing in the past. Still, the Lord came back.
They left the great mission the Lord had given them to them.
They were called by Jesus to be fishers of men. However, when difficult adversity came through their difficult life, they returned to fishing again.
The Lord who found the failed disciples again
Text The disciples came down to the sea of Tiberia, their original place of business, and worked all night with all their might, but there was no fish. Perhaps the disciples fell into a sense of disappointment. would have been frustrated. And he must have felt a great sense of guilt for betraying the Lord. At this time, the Lord came and asked, “Is there any meat?” This is God's grace. The Lord is looking for a failed life.
The Lord who raised the disciples in honor again
In verse 6, Jesus said to cast the net on the right side of the boat. Then he said that there were too many fish to lift the nets. All success belongs to God. Therefore, we must live by the Word. They lowered their nets by relying on the word, and they caught a lot of fish. All success depends on God.
