Jesus took my weakness / Matthew 8:17
一. Jesus who bore my sins (Romans 6:23, Romans 3:10, 1 Peter 3:19, 1 Peter 2:24)
Of course, sin is not a weakness or weakness. Because everyone sins. There is none righteous, not even one (Romans 3:10). Sin is death, destruction, and death. (Romans 6:23) Who can die for death? Even if there was such a person, who would go to Hell instead?
But it is recorded in 1 Peter 3:19 that our Jesus took on our sins, took on our death, and went to hell where we should go. how grateful That is why our ancestors did not fear death and were martyred for the Lord. We also sing praises every day, saying, "Even if I cry all the time, I can't pay it back with tears. 1 Peter 2:24 says, "He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness. By His wounds you were healed." , and Hebrews 10:17 says, “And their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more.” Let us remember Jesus who bore our sins.
二. Jesus who bore my weakness (Isaiah 6:5, Romans 8:1, 2 Corinthians 12:7-8, 11:30, 12:10)
Weaknesses are also genetic, but eradicating them doesn't bother us. Even a person who is respected by the people around him can make a mistake in his or her family due to language problems. However, even if we have our shortcomings, if we entrust them to God, God will take responsibility for them. Isaiah 6:5 says, “At that time I said, Woe to me, for I am a man of unclean lips, and in the midst of a people of unclean lips, I have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. He flew to me with coals of bar coal in his hand, and brought it to my mouth, saying, Behold, it has touched your mouth, and your iniquity is taken away, and your sins are forgiven."
Where is the father who can see a child struggling with a heavy burden? Don't think that our lives are ruined because of our shortcomings, but I pray that you will become believers who believe in the Lord's responsibilities and live with joy and light hearts.
All humans have flaws. Sir Churchill of England was raised in a noble and politician's family. But since I was young, I stuttered, so it was difficult for others to understand. From then on, he worked hard to become an orator and a great statesman who rescued Britain from the fires of war. Churchill said in Romans 8:1, “What then shall we say about this? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
Even the apostle Paul had many shortcomings. That is why 2 Corinthians 12:7-8 speaks of 'thorns in the eye'. Perhaps he saw the light on the road to Damascus and was blind, but he was healed through Ananias' prayer, but after that, he seems to have eye problems. But Paul boasted of his weakness (2 Corinthians 11:30), because "Therefore, for Christ's sake I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, privations, persecutions, and hardships, for when I am weak, then I am strong." It says in 2 Corinthians 12:10. Rather, I pray that we will become saints who remember that our weakness is a condition to hold onto the strong God. Rather, I hope to thank God through our weaknesses.
three. Jesus who took my sickness (1 Peter 2:2, Isaiah 53:5, James 5:15)
In Korea, when we get sick, we go to the hospital. It is very difficult to get medicine these days due to what is called the medical crisis. But I bless you to believe that God is the one who heals completely. Even diseases that doctors cannot cure, God can heal.
let's sing praises "The Spirit of our Lord came on me and healed me. The Spirit of our Lord came on me and healed me. Healed. Healed. Healed my disease. Healed. Healed. Healed. Healed my disease." You don't have to worry about the pharmacist or the doctor going on strike, and remember that our Jesus took the disease. 1 Peter 2:2 says, "He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness. By His wounds you were healed." , Isaiah 53:5 says, "He was pierced for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace, and his wounds we are healed." There is. We don't know if we ourselves are sick or not. Not only physical diseases are diseases, but mental diseases that account for 70-80% are also diseases. There is also a spiritual illness that is 100%. But in James 5:15 it says, "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed any sins, they will be forgiven him."
Let us believe in this fact and sing praises (chapter 528). “Lord, heal my sick body now, and heal me, as you promised. I now firmly believe and pray before you. Lord, heal me soon with your mighty power… I believe that you heal my disease. From now on, I will praise you for ever and ever. I will spread the word that saved me wherever I go. Thank you so much for healing me." Amen. Lord, we have so many weaknesses, but you have taken care of our weaknesses, so give us faith to trust in you today. Father, turn my weakness into strength.
