Old Testament
10. I will rejoice greatly in the LORD, and my soul will rejoice in my God, for he will put on the robe of salvation.
He puts on me and adds to me the robe of justice, so that a bridegroom wears lust and a bride adorns herself with her jewels
11. As the earth buds up, and as a garden springs up what is sown there, so the Lord GOD will cause justice and praise to spring forth before all nations.

1. I will not be silent for Zion's sake;
and will not rest,
2. The nations will see your justice, and all the kings will see your glory, and you will be called by a new name at the mouth of the LORD.

39. When they had finished all their work according to the law of the Lord, they returned to Galilee and came to Nazareth, the town they had seen.
40. And the child grew and became strong, and full of wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him.
sermon
Why did Jesus keep the law?
After being circumcised on the eighth day after birth, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for a purification ceremony according to the law of Moses. The parents, Joseph and Mary, offered sacrifices as a pair of doves according to the law. Jesus came to set people free from slavery to sin, bound under the law. Why does he keep the law?
What did Simeon, who was good at keeping the law, prophesied about Jesus under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit?
Simeon, a Jew living in Jerusalem, was a righteous, godly, and law-abiding man. While he was waiting for the Messiah to save Israel, he entered the temple under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and met the baby Jesus, who had just come to practice the customs of the law. He embraces the baby and rejoices, praising God.
What are the characteristics of the baby Jesus growing up under the law?
After meeting the prophets Simeon and Anna in Jerusalem and hearing their prophecies, the baby Jesus returns to Nazareth, the town he saw. But the baby Jesus grew and became strong, full of wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him. Jesus did not break the law by living under the law, and finally fulfilled the requirements of the law on the cross. It was God's act of saving us from the bondage of sin under the law.
