Title: Jesus died for me
Contents
“The love of Christ compels us, we think, that if one died for all, then all died. He died for all, so that the living no longer live for themselves, but that they might live for those who died for them and were raised again” (2 Corinthians 5:14-15).
I give thanks and praise to you in front of this proof of truth that clearly reveals what faith is and what the secret of faith is.
He is not the first, he is the second. The first person would have been just "Jesus". Had he been simply “Jesus,” he would not have been raised to life and would have rotted. He is not just “Jesus”; He is “Christ Jesus.” The first is from below and the second is from above.
“There is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus” (1 Timothy 2:5).
So, the Bible testifies about "the first Adam" and "the last Adam" to clarify this, saying, "The first man is from the earth, and is of dust; but the second man is from heaven" (1 Corinthians 15:47).
Therefore, those who died in his death live together in his life, but death that does not die with him has no life that lives with him. It is only the law of faith that makes this happen.
Faith in Christ Jesus is a holy faith and a precious faith. Those who believe in the promises in Christ Jesus must be united by the Holy Spirit to become one body with his Son, Christ Jesus. Childbirth is not just the head, but the body as well. Marriage is not only achieved by the groom, but also by the bride.
Therefore, the apostle Paul of the truth testifies of the truth, saying, “I now rejoice in the afflictions that I suffer for you, and I fill the rest of the sufferings of Christ in my flesh for the sake of his body, the church” (Colossians 1:24).
“The rest of the sufferings of Christ” can only be known by the body that belongs to him, that is, the members, and can know whether the words “…overcoming and trying to overcome” (Revelation 6:2) mean nothing.
Therefore, now there are those who have the evidence of the words, “Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires” (Galatians 5:24).
If you died with him, you will also live with him. Now all those who have been raised with him say, “Not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself. If we live, we live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for the Lord. Therefore, whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s.” (Romans 14:7-8) will testify.
he died of me So now it is Christ who lives in me. These things happen at the same time. This is because it is not a work of the flesh, but a work of the Spirit. Therefore, where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
Those who are with him in his death are also with him in his new life. Therefore, he is our life.
“When Christ, who is our life, appears, then ye shall also appear with him in glory” (Colossians 3:4).
