Title: Jesus Globalization Movement (1)/Mark 1:15
Content [Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature!] (Mark 16:15).
“Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, making disciples in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit!” (Matthew 28:19).
[But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth] (Acts 1:8).
It is the mandate of the globalization movement advocated by the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus, who came into the world, advocated the world evangelization movement. It is said to be good news of great joy to all people (Luke 2:10). This world exists because of the Jesus World Evangelization Movement. Therefore, the Jesus World Evangelization Movement will mark the end of history. That is why Matthew 24:14 says [this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then will the end come].
Jesus was pleased to develop the world evangelization movement through a special institution called the church, not through the politics, economy, culture, education, or science of this world. Of course, all existing institutions in this world were indirect instruments of the Jesus World Evangelization Movement.
Jesus is carrying out the globalization movement through the church he built with the blood of himself (Acts 20:28). Therefore, all the true churches of Jesus Christ in the global village that exist are, without exception, [the church that received the world].
Our Kyunghyang Church, which the Lord allowed 22 years ago, is a 'world-receiving church' established for the Gospel movement of Jesus without exception.
Today, I want to use the opportunity of blessing on the first Sunday morning of the new year as I am rearranging the 7 Gospel Movements that Kyunghyang Church is conducting for the globalization of Jesus movement.
I. It is a personal salvation movement (church revival = 3 3 3 movement).
The personal command movement is the basic mission (exercise) of the former Kyunghyang people.
This is the first reaction of life that happens to each of us when we each receive Jesus Christ as our Savior and experience the assurance of salvation. It is like Andrew leading his brother Simon Peter to the Lord first after meeting Jesus (John 1:40-41). It is like that Philippian jailer who received the Lord and led all his family to Jesus that night (Acts 16:25-34).
The personal salvation movement is a movement in which [one person evangelizes and leads one person]. More specifically, the method of this 'one person evangelism' movement is as follows.
(1) It is a movement to have a fetus. This is the first thing to select a target for evangelism and pray for his evangelism, guidance, and salvation.
(2) It is a movement to have disbanded believers. This is the stage to finally evangelize and lead the prenatal believers to the church.
(3) It is a movement to have nurturing believers. This is so that the soul who has been led by the Lord receives the Lord, learns and is baptized to become a child of God.
(4) It is a movement to make disciples and believers. This is to make him a saint because he is moved by the grace of salvation and leads a life of holy water, prayer, tithing, thanksgiving, service, and devotion.
This is the crux of the 'church revival movement'. It will be the starting point of the [3 3 3 movement] that our church is aiming for anew. This is the first step in the world evangelization movement.
II. It is a planting church movement (more than 500 church establishment movements).
Kyunghyang Church is the mother church of our denomination.
We started doing this from scratch. Along with the planting of our own churches, we prayed and prayed for the establishment of more than 500 planted churches during the activities of the first president of the church.
Over the past 20 years, there have been more than 300 churches in the world, combined with the mission field churches that have been built around the world. The 'Kingdom of God' that the Lord has commanded is 'to establish the church of the Lord Jesus' in this world. The last command the Lord commanded to make disciples of all nations by baptizing the disciples in charge of the world in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19) points to the establishment of the church (Matthew 16:18) .
So, his disciples preached the gospel wherever they went, and then established a church through the gathered people. That is how the Jesus globalization movement works.
So, (1) First, establish a church in an unexplored area (South Korea evangelization movement).
(2) Prepare for the establishment of a church in North Korea in preparation for the era of a unified Korea
(North Korea evangelization movement).
III. Seminary Movement (Korea Theological Seminary Academy Campus Movement).
All Christians who have been saved from the earth are, in a broad sense, all disciples of Jesus. Nevertheless, the Lord specifically called disciples and appointed them as missionaries in order to devote their entire lives to the gospel movement. It was the 70 publishers, and the twelve disciples (Apostles). And in the age of the apostles, pastors and teachers were established. In other words, it is a 'disciple movement'.
Our church has already realized this will of God and started a movement to restore the old Goryeo seminary in Seoul (March 9, 1776).
Our Goryeo Theological Seminary will surely become a cradle of blessings for the watchman of the times, a training camp for the devout, a town for martyrs, a center for world missions, and the disciples of Jesus.
This Goryeo seminary,
(1) Pastor training movement as a cradle of piety and learning.
(2) Theologian training movement as the cradle of world Reformed theology (the Second Geneva Movement)
(3) The World Mission Center movement should be developed to nurture missionaries who have received the world.
For this work ① We have already organized a seminary support group in the church, and its members have reached 1,800.
② And special members such as entrepreneurs are rising.
③ 3% of church expenses are being sent to seminaries. The true seminary movement is a movement to become the standard bearers of the Jesus world evangelization movement.
Ⅳ This is a global missionary movement (a movement to send more than 100 missionaries)
It has been 15 years since we organized the Kyunghyang Mission for this work (April 13, 1998). We are living in an exceptionally peaceful era. Partially and tentatively, 'the sky is still for half an hour' (Rev 8:1). I firmly believe that this is to carry out the missionary mission the Lord has commanded. We already have many blessings and experiences in this missionary work, and we are also enjoying spiritual rewards and fun.
(1) The number of general members, special members, and lifetime members should continue to increase (currently about 2600 members).
(2) 50% of the church's current expenses should be targeted as mission expenses (currently 25%).
(3) We must focus on the mission of indigenous peoples in the third world.
(4) A mid- to long-term plan should be made to nurture missionary applicants.
(5) For the continuation of a long-term and stable missionary movement, a missionary fund movement should be developed.
(6) In the age of mass media, all cultural and scientific instruments must be fully utilized for evangelical missions (text missions, broadcasting missions, video missions, TV missions, etc...).
The missionary name the church received is the essential content of the Jesus globalization movement. Therefore, the missionary church survives and is blessed. But a church without mission will wither, die, and then die. The reason is that the primary meaning and purpose of the existence of the Church of Jesus is mission.
