Jesus heals the blind
Text: Matthew 20:29-34
Introduction
We want to be transformed and healed in any environment. If you really want something in your heart, I think you can go all-in for it. But when suddenly there is an obstacle in front, they say that they fell because of it. It is good for a person to live while controlling the environment, but if he is bound by the environment, his judgment will be clouded from then on, his will to live is lost, and he will eventually lead to ruin.
December is two weeks from now, and this year is over. It is the end of the year, so it is a time to plan for a more vibrant life in the new year. Those who are worried about the environment in front of me today, or those who blame others for not being able to work because of money or lack of personal connections Are you blaming the environment for everything?
If so, today's text points out that we are wrong. There were many people who met Jesus, but let's listen to the stories of people we met while overcoming obstacles and obstacles.
Main subject
Everyone! Pay attention to the fact that there are two blind people instead of one. If you think that two people are together without seeing their eyes, they must have met frequently. I wasn't caught up in the thought of what to do when a blind person went out on an outing while annoying many people. The place where the two blind people are today is on the roadside where people go. That is, on the road. I didn't just stay at home. Most of the unemployed stay at home, asking where they are going because they are shy, but the blind man came out.
And they are people who have already agreed to meet each other at the meeting place the day before. These are the people who plan for tomorrow. Physical flaws are unavoidable, but mentally, they are showing the right side. They sat together by the roadside, hoping to ultimately make a difference in their lives. The attitude that I can do it, let's just do it, influenced the thoughts and actions of these two blind men. In other words, they were not people who stayed at home quietly and ended up doing something new.
Even if the sky falls, there is a hole through which it will rise. It is clear that he had a positive attitude in life that there is a star garden day even in the mouse hole. If possible, I would like to meet Jesus. Rumor has it that Jesus performs miracles and miracles. I hope to meet you and change your life. These are people who lived with strong aspirations, hopes, and faith. Whether Jesus comes or passes by or meets, what reason is there with me? It is not that attitude, but it reinforces the idea that we should meet and ask for help.
They had a clear knowledge of the people we met. Jesus is the King. We clearly understood and believed that the Son of David is the one we should worship and exalt. They thought that even if Jesus were to come before me, I would not be able to see him, so I would have to shout out loud so that he could be heard in the crowd. Perhaps the reason the two of them are together is to make a loud noise.
Through these two blind people, you can see that two people can achieve great things when they are united rather than one. Two people shouted together rather than one voice. Whether you are running a business or doing family work, as long as two people agree, work will be promoted, progressed, and completed. Just as God did not create Adam alone, but gave him a helper to help him become fruitful and prosperous. When two people's hearts become one, it can't happen, but when two people's hearts are divided, it doesn't happen either.
The voices of these two blind men are the cry of salvation that I want to change and live. Have you ever been drowning and drowning? I was there when I was young. Just as you can understand the feeling of catching a straw when you fall into the water without being able to swim, the two blind men now feel the need to catch even a straw. Of course, the people next to you are noisy. Why are you making such a fuss? It didn't go away any more. Whether Jesus is in front of me or a considerable distance away, convincing Jesus that I am here is the first thing. The blind man who neither knows nor sees Jesus is politely saying hello to Jesus! I'll say I have no choice but to shout.
Because it's dark, I can't see it, so I'm shouting. This belief is sometimes referred to as low-level. Cars can be classified as high-end and low-class, but what kind of low-level level is there in finding and meeting Jesus? It is simply to bow down before God, to disobey, to pray, and to obey. It's not a head-to-head clamor, but a struggle for one's actual needs and one's actual life. This is not a silent clamor, but a clamor to be heard.
If the first strategy is to sit and wait for two blind men by the roadside, the second is to shout and shout. The third is to deliver a message asking us to help our situation. Let's make the most of the request we can make to the other person! That's it.
Isn't it the most desperate request for you to live? The two blind men who came before Jesus also asked for mercy, and when Jesus asked what he wanted, they wanted to see the future. It's a change in your own life. In our view, the biggest change for the blind is to look ahead. Just as the dead come to life, as the dumb says, and as the lame rise, the two blind men who live opposite dreams and experience miracles in their lives and enjoy the blessing of being saved. I would like to ask if we have this kind of earnestness to meet Jesus, which the two blind men had as much as Jesus healed them. Since God lives and works even now, are we earnestly crying out to Him and actually seeking Him?
Those who cling desperately met Jesus. When Zacchaeus climbed up the sycamore tree, the paralyzed man came down through the roof, the two blind men shouted loudly, and the children tried to see Jesus among the elders. It was only when he denied, turned away, and betrayed Jesus. All those who were close to him tasted and experienced miracles, miracles, powers, and life changes. To save time means to seize the opportunity, and even though they clamor and struggle to seize the first and last opportunity for them, they can meet Jesus and know that their lives are successful and blessed. Only those who meet Jesus will succeed in life.
This means that you should not run out of the Garden of Blessings, the source of blessings. Living water flows nearby, but it is the same as turning away from other places. That is why Jesus said that I am the vine, you branches, didn't he say that I am in me and I only need to abide in it? Jesus' help comes to him who first presents himself before Jesus. To ride a big wave, you need to have a foothold to ride a big wave.
Maybe your business is tough, maybe your kids are struggling, and maybe life is tough, it's a sign that you're facing a big wave. Go home quickly and move forward with a footing large enough to ride a big wave. The process of meeting Jesus may be difficult, but only when we meet Jesus can change our lives.
