The text is from John 13:31-35
First, love is a sacrifice. It is the sacrifice of the cross. There is no greater sacrifice than this. It is a sacrifice that gave only one life. It is not the life of a sinner, but the love sacrificed by an innocent life. 1 John 4:19 “It was not that we loved God first, but that God loved us first” Love is not a requirement. Giving is a sacrifice.
Second, love is forgiveness. 1 Peter 4:8 “Above all, love zealously, for love covers a multitude of sins.” Love covers a multitude of sins. The law exposes sin. There is no forgiveness. Teeth for teeth and eyes for eyes. But love has forgiveness. Ephesians 4:2 “Forbearing one another in love” As 1 Corinthians 8:1 says, love builds up.
Our Shepherd Church is now a 27-year-old youth in human terms. It's come of age. Before marriage, they lived only with the love of their parents. It's true that I'm not good at giving love because I live only with love. It is true that we, who have received only the love of the Lord, find it awkward to love the Lord. Now, we must live a life of faith by standing in the position of giving and giving love in a state where we demand and receive love, whether by age or faith. You must love God, love the saints, and love the soul. Love with the love of Jesus Christ, and love one another in Jesus Christ.
Love covers a multitude of sins. overcome everything. I pray that you and I will be filled with the love of Jesus.
