Title: Jesus My Joy (Philippians 1:19-21)
[Philippians 1:19-21]
[19] ♠ I know that this will lead to my salvation through your supplication and the help of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. [20] ♠ I will not be ashamed of anything according to my earnest expectations and hopes. [21] For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
You can rejoice and rejoice in the little things. Also, I feel sorry for even the smallest things and feel sad. It is said that there are three things that men enjoy in this world. The first is said to be refreshing after a haircut. The second is when you start the engine after buying a new car and smell the new car, and the third is when you marry. In this way, we rejoice together over trivial things such as refreshing after a haircut or important events such as marriage. When are you happiest? Think of your happiest enemy or what you are most likely to be happy about this dawn. Despite the fact that there are people who are jealous of himself and have a competitive spirit and use Paul's bond as an opportunity to destroy moral rules and order, even in the situation of life and death in a prison with no future guarantee, the progress of evangelism I am saying that I am happy. In Paul's life, we can see joy in the gospel. Paul was in a bad situation, but Paul's joy only deepened. You can find joy in the midst of life and death. Let's find out what motivates Paul to rejoice.
First, Paul was convinced that he would be saved.
In verse 18, he says, “I will also rejoice.” This is a wonderful testimony of faith that we will rejoice not only now but also in the future. With super-experiential and absolute intuition, I am filled with the conviction that ‘I will reach salvation’ He emphasizes that it is not through his own labor or righteousness, but salvation comes from God. Paul says that salvation is known through the grace of Christ through the prayers of the saints and the inspiration, inspiration, and work of the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. That is why he is saying that he rejoices and also rejoices.
Second, Paul rejoiced that Christ's majesty was revealed even in the face of death.
It was Paul's joy that Christ was exalted. It was Paul's hope that if he lived, he would become a living sacrifice, and if he died, he would become a sacrifice to death, so that the wonderful name of Jesus might be made great.
Third, they are rejoicing because they know that Jesus Christ is the most precious and precious person in the world.
Paul's entire life was for Christ. He died and Christ lived in him. This is a thorough view of life. Verse 21 [For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain] Read this verse several times. Are you Amen?
I want to ask you one more time. When do you have the greatest joy? Where is the source of your joy? I pray in the name of the Lord that we, who died in our sins and trespasses, today too, have been saved in Christ Jesus through the grace of God through the inspiration, inspiration, and work of Jesus Christ, and that we may rejoice and rejoice in the emotion and thanksgiving of salvation. Also, I pray in the name of the Lord that through everything in our lives, only Jesus Christ may be honored, whether we live or die, to glorify the Lord and glorify God becomes our hope. . While praising the great love of Jesus, I bless you in the name of the Lord that our lives will be blessed with the joy of becoming Christ, even in difficult, difficult situations and suffering.
