Title: Jesus, My Resurrection

When it comes to the text, the greatest miracle was accomplished, which was raising Lazarus from the dead. There was a difference between raising the daughter of Jairus and raising the son of the widow of Nain.

Jesus mourned the death of Lazarus as a human being and raised Lazarus as God. We see four facts in the text.

1. the sick

Jesus often visited Bethany, where Lazarus, Mary, and Martha lived.

When Jesus comes to our house, even if there are wine bottles or obscene books rolling around---, if the Bible is full of dust---, if you are enjoying the money you have to give to God---The heart of the Lord How would you like it?

While Jesus was on a missionary journey, Lazarus fell ill. Illness comes to everyone. It cannot be said that all diseases are the result of sin.

Some of the best-chosen saints in the world are sickly people. Some of the worst people in the world are healthy people. After the sin of Adam and Eve, disease arose.

Sometimes disease leads us on the path of blessing. To return to the side of the Lord, to thank God, to return to the way of heaven, to read the Bible.

Sickness also gives us the value of religion and reminds us of how we should live and die. (Saints---Fall---Sickness--- Asking God for forgiveness)

When Lazarus fell ill, the sisters sent to call Jesus (prayer). Doctors and medicines are also given by God, but we need prayer first. Let's remember God, who protects us when we face difficulties.

These sisters only said to Jesus, "Lord, the one you love is sick." I trusted and entrusted it to Jesus knowing everything and doing what he would do (method of prayer).

Jesus answered, "This sickness is not a disease to die for, but for the glory of God." It did not mean that Lazarus would not die, it meant a temporary death. For the glory of God, you have allowed me to grieve for a while.

Jesus said to the blind man, "It was not that we were blind because we sinned, but that the works of God might be revealed."

"Jesus originally loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus"---But he did not run right away, but delayed two days. This increased the happiness that comes after perseverance.

"Let's go back to Judea"---The disciples who say it is dangerous are forgetting that there is nothing to fear when Jesus is with us. Sometimes Jesus takes us to dangerous places, but He always protects us.

What we must not forget is our faith in God and the mission God has entrusted to us, and our supreme desire to do things that bring glory to God.

2. Sadness

“Our friend Lazarus is asleep, but I am going to wake him up.” “Lord, if he sleeps, he will be well.” “Lazarus is dead.” We fear death, but Jesus calls it sleep.

When we wake up, we experience the same pain, pain, suffering, and sorrow, but when we wake up from the sleep of death in Jesus, we meet the kingdom of heaven.

When Jesus arrived in Bethany, Lazarus had been in the tomb for four days. The two sisters had days of grief and lost hope. The active Martha ran out to meet Jesus. Maria was an introvert and reflective woman, so she waited at home.

A conversation between Martha and Jesus. "Lord, if you had been here my brother would not have died, but I know that even now, whatever you ask, God will give you." "Your brother will rise again." "I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me will live even if they die, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."

Martha and Mary, and many people around them wept. Even Jesus wept. You must have wept out of pity for your friend. The heart of Jesus is always united with our sorrows.

3. Savior

Now let us look to the Savior and His mighty miracles. Standing in front of Lazarus' tomb, Jesus said, "Remove the stone." The Lord doesn't do what we can. If we are farmers, we need to plow, sow, and take care of the fields in order to obtain a bountiful harvest.

As the stone was rolled, the Lord prayed. The Lord has always prayed in front of a great responsibility, so how can we not pray? At the voice of the Lord saying, “Lazarus, come out,” Lazarus came out with a shroud covering his whole body.

Mr. Moody said that if the Lord had not called Lazarus by name, all the bodies in the tomb would have been resurrected. That is how great the power of the Savior is.

Now you have said, "Let it go." Many have touched Lazarus and have had great evidence. This was Christ's greatest miracle. But it was not difficult for Christ. Jesus created man, had the power to resurrect, turned water into wine, healed the leper, and opened the eyes of the blind. All of these are supernatural works of Greece.

A few years ago, there was a clock shop called "Reverse Clock" next to Seokgye Station. It was to make and sell a watch that went backwards. Just as a watchmaker can make a clock go backwards, so God created nature and has the power to stop it or change course. We call this a miracle.

In Homer's Odyssey, when his wife doesn't recognize Yurishiz returning from home for 20 years, he proves himself by asking him to bring his bow, which only he can pull.

Seeing the power of Jesus, many believed that He was the Son of God.

4. Conspirators

When the Jewish leaders heard of the resurrection of Lazarus, they devised a plan to crucify Jesus. But the time is not yet. How mean are they to kill the Son of God?

We are sinners. Sinners die. powerless to death. But there is hope. You can have life through Jesus. After being resurrected, Lazarus would have led a godly life. Because we too have been raised from sin, we too must live a life of devotion and godliness.

Even if our bodies go into the tomb, our souls will go to heaven, and when Christ returns, our bodies in the tombs will also be transformed and lifted up with our souls in heaven.

Brothers and sisters, the powers of sin and death once attacked us to take us to Hell. But our mighty King, Jesus Christ, himself rushed to death to save us forever. And today, he overcame the power of death and rose again. I ask that you become believers who spread the word of Jesus, who gave us the hope of resurrection, to the whole world.
