Title: Jesus Overcame Sickness (Mark 05:21-34)
What happened when Jesus arrived at Capernaum.
Jesus' third victory - disease.
The story of Jesus is an incident that occurred while Jairus, the leader of the synagogue, was on his way to the house of Jesus after his daughter died.
Many people always followed Jesus' way.
Meanwhile, this incident happened.
These are the words Jesus said when he knew that power was flowing out of him amidst many people pushing him away.
1. A woman suffering from bleeding
G. He must have been looking for all kinds of hard work - many doctors - famous doctors.
He tried to fix it by all means.
Wealth - In the meantime, I squandered all my fortune.
In vain - there was no effect and it got worse.
It requires human effort, but you can see what human labor and effort are like without God.
In order for our sweat and labor today to not be in vain, I hope that we will have devotion and hard work for God in faith.
N. A woman who approaches Jesus despite her impurity in the history of faith.
In fact, she was a religiously filthy woman, and she could not go anywhere recklessly, and it was impossible for her to touch other people.
But because he had hope and faith to be healed, he went to Jesus and touched his clothes.
The woman thought that Jesus had the power to heal, but I could not go out as an unclean woman, so I thought that I would be healed if I touched his clothes.(28) That was the woman's faith.
The woman did it by faith. Then, to his surprise, the disease he had been suffering from for 12 years was soon cured.
When you do it by faith, history happens.
I hope that you will become saints who accomplish history by doing it with the faith that is within us today.
Jesus immediately knew that his power had gone out by touching your clothes, so he asked, “Who touched my clothes?” The disciples are asking the question, how can we know when many people are pushing us? But Jesus clearly knew, so he asked the question. why did that
1. For the woman herself to know and confess what the work of faith is like.
To her now, Jesus would have been nothing more than a healer to her. But the Lord wanted her to know that he was a friend and a savior. So he said to the woman, "Daughter, your faith has saved you; go in peace, and you may be healed of your illness. Jesus did not only heal her physically, but healed her spiritually.
2. For Jairus' sake, Jairus's daughter's death is imminent, and the rushing crowd and the appearance of the woman blocking Jesus' steps do not seem to help Jairus at all.
But this very history is for Jairus.
Now in Jairus' heart, faith in the Lord was once again strong. The kind words the Lord spoke to her also comforted her heart.
3. For the glory of the Lord, the woman now has an opportunity to witness through Jesus.
As the witness of the woman, believers arose, and God was glorified.
Jesus overcame disease and was victorious.
I hope that the precious work done for us and for the glory of God will be with the believers at this time today.
