However, the truth that the Bible speaks of is “more than reason, it is above reason, and is the life, power, and dominating essence of all things. Since truth is the life and essence of creation,
1) There should be no change. The principles, laws, traditions, knowledge, and culture of the world may change, but the truth does not change. Ecclesiastes 1:9 says, “There is nothing new under the sun.” Things in the world change drastically. But what remains the same? James 1:17 “God does not change, nor does the shadow of turning change” Only God the Creator is unchanging. Therefore, God is the truth. You are the essence of truth.
2) It must be eternal. It is not the truth to be and not to exist. The world also exists from the time God created it, and when the purpose of creation is fulfilled, it loses its value, so the Bible says, “The heavens are gone like a scroll being rolled up.” (Revelation 6:14) Therefore, nothing in this world is the truth. can't.
Exodus 3:14 "God said to Moses, "I am who I am." And he said, "Thus you say to the children of Israel, 'I AM has sent me to you.'" Therefore, only God Himself is eternal God is the essence of truth. The word that proceeds from his mouth is eternal (Matthew 24:35). The Word became flesh (John 1:14) and Jesus Christ is eternal. (Hebrews 13:8) The Comforter (Matt. 28:20) How is the gone Jesus with us? He comes as the Counselor, the Holy Spirit. (John 16:7) “God is the invisible truth. Jesus is the visible truth. The Holy Spirit is the truth that dwells in us.” Because God is the truth, ① His words are the truth (John 17:17) ② The incarnate Jesus is the truth (John 14:6) ③ The Holy Spirit who came in the name of Jesus This is the truth. (John 15 :26, 16:13) Regarding “freedom” when he said that knowing the truth will set you free, Jesus spoke of spiritual freedom, which is more precious than politics, sovereignty, and physical freedom.
First, freedom from sin. (John 8:34, 1 John 3:8) Romans 6:17 “You were originally the slaves of sin”, Romans 5:12 “death came through sin”, Romans 6:23 “the wages of sin is death” But Jesus, being without sin, can set us free. Heb 4:15 “He was without sin” 1 Peter 2:22 He said, “He committed no sin”.
Second, freedom from disease. When Jesus came, the sick were healed. It did not just happen, but it was prophesied by God through the prophet long ago. (Isaiah 53:5, Matthew 8:17, 1 Peter 2:24) Mal 4:2 “For you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise, Healing rays will shine, and you will go out and jump like calves out of the stall.” Countless sick people are healed by Jesus. Among the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, it would be good to introduce the story of Jesus healing the sick, but since the Gospel of Mark is the shortest, we will only find and introduce it in the Gospel of Mark. (Mark 1:30, 1:34, 1:40, 2:3, 3:1, 5:25, 5:41, 6:5, 6:14, 6:55, 6:56, 7:32, 8:23, 9:18, 10:46) In Mark 16:17-18, just before His resurrection and ascension into heaven, He said, “These signs will come to those who believe; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
