Title: Jesus to come again Matthew 16:28
Description There are many believers on this earth, but how many believers eagerly long for the Lord to return and wait for the Lord who will return according to the Lord's words, “Will you see anyone who believes in the last days?” (Luke 18:8).
The Bible clearly says that Jesus will come again (Matthew 24:29-51). Therefore, we Christians must always be awake in the truth in order to meet the coming Jesus again. We will share grace through the ministry of Jesus who will come again.
First, the first coming of Jesus is also a prophecy in the Bible. The Bible records that the Messiah will come as a descendant of women after the fall of Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:15). God had foretold through the prophet that a virgin would conceive and bear a son in Bethlehem in Judea (Isaiah 7:14). Also, according to God's prophecy, Jesus Christ was born from the body of the virgin Mary (Matt. 1:18-21), and His name was the one who will save his people from their sins (Mt 1:21).
Jesus redeemed mankind's original sin (1 Peter 1:18-19) and came to serve mankind (Mark 10:45). After all, Jesus came to be a ransom sacrifice. Therefore, whoever believes in Jesus Christ has eternal life and becomes a child of God.
Second, Jesus said that He would come again. At first, Jesus came to save sinners, but Jesus, who will come again, comes to take those who are awake and those who are ready (Matthew 25:1-13). Therefore, we Christians must live holy and reverent so that we can come before the Lord who has come again.
Third, in order to meet Jesus who will come again, we must live pure. In order to meet Jesus who will come again, we must live righteously and not sin. If you have committed any sins, you must mourn and repent. The Lord forgives those who repent. I sincerely hope that you will not be saved from shame on the brink of death and become a saint who can proudly boast in front of Jesus.
To do this, we must make disciples of all nations, preach the gospel to the whole world, and spread the love of the Lord to the ends of the earth. At that time, we will enjoy eternal life as well as heaven in our hearts.
