Title: The Baptism of Jesus
Yehwa---Baptism that changed your life
1. He became like people.
Thousands of people came to John the Baptist. He came to be baptized. To have come to hear the call to repent means to have repented. It means that you have applied repentance to yourself. They shouted to repent and start a new life.
“He who has two coats will give to the one who has no clothes, and he who has something to eat will do the same.” The tax collectors also came to be baptized and said, “Teacher, what shall we do?” And he said, “You shall not be arrogant except for the appointed duty.” And he said to him, "What shall we do?" And he said, "Do not be cruel to men, do not be rude, and be content with what you receive" (Luke 3:11-14). John the Baptist preached “the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins” (Mark 1:4). Then Jesus came to John the Baptist. Jesus came to receive the baptism of forgiveness of sins and the baptism of repentance. Does this mean that Jesus is a sinner? Does that mean that Jesus repented? Not like that. Jesus came to this earth in human form. He came in the form of a sinner. Baptism shows that Jesus was a perfect man. Knowing that sinners need forgiveness and repentance, he personally experienced baptism.

2. It is worthy to achieve righteousness.
According to John the Baptist, those who came to prepare Jesus must leave when the main character appears. When Jesus appears, John the Baptist must stop what he was doing and disappear. But what is this? Jesus comes to be baptized. John cannot help but be surprised. Because it seems that the high is the lowly, and the master is coming to be baptized by the servant. It doesn't look good to anyone looking at it. that it is unnatural. Naturally, John the Baptist expresses his will of renunciation. "John was perplexed and said, I must be baptized by you, and are you coming to me?" (verse 14). John the Baptist made clear his relationship with Jesus. Jesus answers. “Jesus answered and said, Allow it now, for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness” (verse 15). Jesus' baptism accomplishes righteousness. What does it mean to achieve righteousness? It is not. Because John the Baptist and Jesus are not equal. John the Baptist is called "Bugimi". Jesus came to complete the ministry of John the Baptist. John the Baptist is the fulfillment of prophecy. Jesus came to accomplish the righteousness of God. Through his baptism, Jesus reveals to the world that he is the fulfillment of prophecy.
3. The time has come for the Holy Spirit to come.
4. It was time to listen to the Word.
