Title: Jesus Wept/(Hebrews 5:7-10)

Hallelujah! Praise God for blessing me and you. Thanks to your prayers, I went to the prayer center well. The grace and power received on the mountain had to be used for the people of the village below the mountain. We would like to share all the grace and love that you gave us during prayer and praise the Lord during this time.
As we always feel and realize, no matter what we do without thinking, we find that God touches our hearts and guides our circumstances. I went to the prayer center just because of a strong need for prayer.
What images come to mind when you think of the Philippines? A poor country, the tyranny of the Marcos dictatorship has come to an end, but democracy has not been established and continues to be in chaos.
Because it was colonized by other countries in the past, it is a very complex country where various races live together. What kind of attitude do people take when they meet people who are worse off than me? Don't you laugh at him in front of him? I am no exception. I used to look at them curiously when I saw them with different skin colors and different appearances.
However, I do not know how much grace I received as I watched them praying and praising for 3 days and 2 nights. I couldn't be that faithful and the praise couldn't be that hot.
A country where we are poor and poor, a country of chaos where black and white people live together. I have learned a lot from those who have been easily ignored.
Who among us here can kiss the cross of the Lord and immediately weep hot tears? In their poverty, they possessed a fervent faith that we who boast of wealth do not have.
As he weeps and delivers a message with tears, he begins to sob here and there. Everyone cried. Of course I cried too. The essence of his sermon is nothing else. “Jesus died for me and for you.” This is what we hear every week and confess every day. But we're too dry. No emotion arises. I can't create any history of life in me.
In the 100-year history of Korean Protestantism, it boasts 10 million members, but in 1988, the church is walking on a stagnant or stagnant road. As civilization develops and our lives become more prosperous, we are moving away from our interest in God. Every time we hold a joint assembly, the number of people gathered does not even fill the number of people attending the church's Sunday and daytime worship service. This is the worship service offered by the entire local church in unity.
Jesus looked at those who were hardened at that time and lamented that this generation plays the flute, but does not dance, and mourns, but does not beat their breasts. If this generation and the one to come become worse than the times in which Jesus was working, they have become worse, and no less. We live in this evil generation and we must believe.
In verse 7 of the text we lost today, it says, "While he was in the flesh, he offered up supplications and wishes with intense weeping and tears to him who was able to save him from death." There is nothing in the Bible that says that Jesus laughed. However, there are many stories of him crying everywhere. He wept before the tomb of Lazarus. He wept while looking at Jerusalem, which had left God and was on the verge of destruction.
He wept over his sick bodies and broken spirits. Because of his sin, he offered his supplications and wishes to God with intense cries and tears for mankind who had no choice but to die because of their sins. This was the only way Jesus worked. In Acts 20, Paul confessed that his ministry was humility and tears.
“God, I will work like this.” I made a vow. The work of tears, I thought that this would be the only method of work that God requires in this age. We cry because of the love of Jesus, weep because of pity for those who are dying, and I have only prayed that way from that day to this day.
"God, give me that power!" By the way, I don't know how hard it is. On the first day, I saw Pastor Conde crying while preaching, and I cried while preaching, and I also cried while preaching. I just prayed that until the day I came down on Thursday.
"God, why don't I cry?" I cried because I was angry and cried. On the way back, go up to the Daecheongsan Prayer Center and give me tears again, God! I prayed. After the youth service yesterday, I went to the prayer center again to pray with my tired body. God give me tears! Ladies and gentlemen, I will continue to seek this ability in the future.
We will ask God for tears for the love of Jesus and for the dying souls. I beg you, in the name of the Lord, to become the saints who weep together.
Pastor Spurgeon, who was called the king of preaching, was sobbing and weeping one day. People approached me and asked. "Pastor Spurgeon, why are you weeping?" "Today, I am not moved by the words that Jesus Christ died for me." It was because of these tears that he was able to do the work of gathering 10,000 people in the 18th century.
I will ask God for these tears. May you all weep together. Let's think about the tears we must shed today.
1. Let's weep for our souls.
Let's wipe our own souls stained with the world, polluted with sin, and getting ugly every day with tears. The tears we shed in this age are not because of poverty, which we do not have more than others. It's not because I feel inferior to others. In this age, we must weep because of my sin of not living with salt and light. David said he was overflowing with tears and wet the bed. I must weep for my soul.
2. Let's weep for our country and people.
Jeremiah is a weeping prophet. As he looked at the reality of his country that was perishing, he couldn't stop crying with regret. What kind of people our political leaders are today is being revealed in a hundred days. He used his power to speculate on real estate and make money.
It was like hitting a cat with a fish. Even education, which was said to be a bulwark of conscience, has rotted, and the media is making headlines again. Young people lose their dreams and wander. There is a prevailing consciousness to live an easy life without working for luxury and pleasure. Now we must weep for our country and people.
At Yongmunsan Gukukdan Foundation, prayers for the country and people have been raised every hour since 63. I believe that God sustains this country not because the political leaders do well, but because there are people who pray silently in the rain and snow. In the past, we had a 24-hour prayer meeting several times for evangelism Sunday for all mobilization. Each time, I was in trouble.
Prayer is not something we do because there are a lot of people. There should be only a few people. There are not many people in Yongmunsan. But they are doing it. It is said that there was a case where I had a prayer meeting 24 hours a day at Youngnak Church and gave up after a month. Prayer is done by missionaries. Now is the time to be more awake and pray for our country and people.
3. Let's weep for the church and mission.
I will weep for the flock God has given me. We will weep for the downcast, for the sick, and for our mission. Let's weep for the position we have given you. Let's weep for power
4. Let's weep for our family and neighbors.
How unhappy is someone whose home or family means nothing to me? The rich man went to Hades and asked Abraham to send Lazarus so that they would not come here for his brother. I must take responsibility for the salvation of my family. We just have to weep for them. Let's not let the tears dry out.
