Title: Jesus who became flesh

Contents

The text is from John 1:14-18.

God is spirit. Pneuma translated into spirit is an invisible being. It's hard to know if you can't see it. So people are ignorant of God, say there is no God, choose to live without believing in God, and commit the mistake of worshiping and worshiping idols made by human hands. However, it cannot be taken for granted that people are making excuses not to serve God. Because God made the invisible God Himself visible to people in various ways. The first stage of it is natural revelation. (Revelation of all things) “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1). God created with the Word. “From the foundation of the world his invisible things, even his eternal power and divinity, have been clearly seen and made known in all things that have been made; therefore they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20).

First, because the Word of God is eternal. (Eternity)

When John 1:1 says, “In the beginning was the Word”, “the beginning” does not mean that the Word existed from the beginning, but that it existed before the world was. And this word of God does not perish. “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away” (Matthew 24:35).

Second, because the Word of God is immutable (immutability).

The Word of God is the same for eternity, and no one can change it. The laws of the world, or even the constitution, can be changed by people. But the Word of God is immutable. “Truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or tittle of the law will pass away, and all will be fulfilled” (Matthew 5:18).

Third, because the Word of God has life. (Life force)

“You have the word of eternal life; to whom shall we go?” (John 6:68) “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4) Because there is life, the word of God,

① It has kinetic power. (Hebrews 4:12) That is why God is called the God of the living and the God who works.

② I have the ability. Jesus said, “The sea has calmed, the storm has ceased,” “The fig tree has rebuked and dried up”, “Lazarus, come out, and Lazarus has risen from the dead” Hallelujah! The Word of God, which has so much eternity, immutability, and vitality, came in the flesh, so we call Him Jesus. (John 1:14) He came in the flesh to save us from the chains of sin and our lives in sin. It is to release them and set them free. (Hebrews 2:14-16) In order to deeply understand these graces and blessings, the working of the Holy Spirit is necessary. That is why Jesus, who became incarnate, mentioned the Holy Spirit several times before and after he gave up his body on the cross for us. (John 15-17) The sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who was filled with the Holy Spirit and became flesh for us, and I hope that you will be moved by the work of love and salvation and live your life.

The incarnation event is the biggest event. There is no greater event than this not only in human history but also in the existence of God. The event of God becoming a man, the word becoming flesh, the event of God coming to man, the event of salvation through Jesus, and the incarnation of Jesus Christ. Congratulations.
