Title: Jesus Who Makes Wealthy

Jesus who makes us rich
2 Corinthians 8:9 -15
God promises precious blessings such as "I will make you very fruitful" and "You will have plenty" and "You will be refreshed" when making a covenant with the saints who serve Him.
If you look at verse 9 of the verse I read today, Jesus will save us members spiritually. Physically, "so that he might become rich", so he becomes rich in all things, so that he may live for the Lord.
2 Corinthians 8:9 Did the Lord really live in utter poverty - Our Lord was rich.
Matthew 8:20 "Foxes have dens, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head. What do you mean?
This is not to say that Jesus actually had no house to dwell in. It is Jesus who is rich. However, it means that he left his home and went aimlessly and busy to witness the gospel. Jesus certainly had a large house to dwell in.
1) John 1:35-39 John's disciples asked where Jesus was. At this time, Jesus said to come. Then the disciples followed Jesus to his dwelling place and stayed there for one night. Jesus' residence was spacious enough to accommodate two guests.
2) Jesus needed someone to manage the money box because he had a lot of money during his missionary journey.
John 13:29 Some thought that Judas was in charge of the money box, so he said, ‘Buy our goods for the feast, or give something to the poor. So, you can see that he even saved money with that money. Jesus' money box was always full. Where did this money come from? It is because those who have been transformed through Jesus served Jesus with offerings.
The evidence is recorded in Luke 8:1-3.
3) Also, it is a wrong perception that Jesus was naked. The garments worn by Jesus were of very high quality. Evidence that quality is high quality is recorded in John 19:23-24. “The soldiers crucified Jesus, took his garments, divided them into four collars, and each took one of them, and also took the inner garment. This undergarment was not spun, but was woven from above. If Jesus was wearing rags, who would cast lots for each other?
※ Obviously, Jesus did not live in poverty. He testified of the gospel while living without lack. Therefore, God never leads man into poverty.
Luke 15:17 The prodigal son cried out, "How many hired laborers in my father's house have enough food." God created the heavens and the earth in abundance. The Garden of Eden was a garden of abundance. You never made it into a shabby universe. However, since Adam and Eve sinned, they have experienced poverty among the thorns and thistles of the curse.
◆ God received abundant blessings from all the ancestors of faith.
Genesis 13:1-2 It is written that Abraham was rich in cattle and silver and gold.
Abraham, who completely obeyed God, lived such a rich life. Genesis 26:12-14 The blessing of Isaac is recorded as follows. “Isaac cultivated in that land and reaped a hundredfold in that year, and the Lord blessed him, and the man became prosperous and prosperous, and at last it was rejected, and the flocks and herds were very numerous, and the Philistines were envious of him.” are recording.
Genesis 32:10 How was Jacob? “I am not worthy of all the grace and all the truth that You have bestowed upon Your servant, but I have crossed this Jordan with only my staff, and now I have made two flocks.”
As we can see from the lives of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, those who receive blessings from God will receive blessings not only in their souls but also in their lives and become rich.” The source of blessing is God.
◆ Then, what must we do to enjoy these abundant blessings? You must lead a life of faith that deserves blessing. You must be ready to be blessed.
First, you must prioritize your life.
Matthew 7:11 If you, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask him?
Matthew 6:33 Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. There are things to do first and things to do later. Priorities should be clear.
It would be wrong to just look for the blessings of the flesh without devoting yourself to the work of the Lord. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you, Jesus said.
Second, we must change our thinking.
◆ We should always give thanks for God's grace.
Verse 9: “And you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.”
Galatians 3:14 says, “This is so that the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles in Jesus Christ, that we might receive the promise of the Holy Spirit through faith.
Abraham's blessing has come to us. Now, we pray that you will become the children of faith who will cast away your cursed thoughts and enjoy the blessings of spiritual, physical, and material things with perfect faith. Therefore, those who have been changed in the Lord must cast away the curse, poverty, defeat, inferiority, and negative thoughts and have a positive and creative mind.
Proverbs 4:24 “More than anything else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.” God always fills His children with good things. God is our Father.
◆Swallow's nest: After the mother birds hatch the chicks, they feed the chicks and feed them.
You don't know how much the mother bird suffers for that. They fly diligently to feed. When you look at it, you realize the mystery of life force again. But look at the chicks. When the mother bird comes with food, the chicks, who have not yet opened their eyes, open their mouths wide and cry out. When you open your mouth like this, you can't see the body, only the mouth. The mother bird feeds the chicks one after another in the mouths of the chicks that are so wide open. It is the mother bird that asks for food here.
However, they don't have the talent to make their cubs open wide. It means you have to open your mouth wide to eat. God says
81:10 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt; open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
There are many things to worry about and many problems in the world, but do not be anxious and just open your mouth to prayer
Then he says I will fill it.
◆ God's children have faith and voluntarily open their mouths to pray. The chicks cannot see, but they open their mouths. Knowing that this is what the mother bird usually feeds with good things, believing that it will put in her mouth what is necessary and suitable for me, she opens her mouth. The cubs trust their mother so completely. totally dependent on it. So, without a doubt, open your mouth wide. That is what blessed faith is. We must open our mouths of prayer, believing that God fills us with the most precious and good things. That is why we should be very satisfied with our religious life and live it abundantly.
Third, we must plant according to the principle of sowing and reaping.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8 “It is said that the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. God will see the devotion of the saints and grant them blessings.
Giving tithes and offerings is called "sowing and reaping."
Mal 3:10-12 "Take your whole tithe into storehouses, so that there may be food in my house, saith the LORD of hosts, and with it you will test me and see if I will open the gates of heaven and pour out your blessings so that there is no room for them. If you pay a full tithe, God promises to pour out blessings so that you will have no place to store them.
◆However, if some of you are still not materially wealthy and are experiencing difficulties, then you should know the reason why you have not lived a wealthy life until now. We need to know the reason why we haven't been able to live a wealthy life until now.
Mal 3:8-9) “How can a man rob God? But you steal what is mine, and you say, “How did we steal yours?” These are tithes and offerings. You are cursed."
Obviously, the Bible says that you are cursed because you have stolen your tithes and offerings.
An offering means a free offering, and it refers to today's thanksgiving offering and vow offering. When something to be thankful for happens to the members of the church, they should give thanks before time passes. You must not forget. God is pleased to bless us.
Num 6:24-26) “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face to you and give you peace.”
Conclusion) 2 Corinthians 8:9 The Lord was rich. Not poor Jesus. But . The Lord chose the poor with a mission and purpose “for the poor”. You have a mission and purpose to live in poverty, and because you are lazy and incompetent, you have no choice but to live.
You should know that it is definitely different from living in poverty.
Dear saints! May we all live a life of faith that deserves blessings this year, so I pray that you will receive and enjoy God's abundant blessings to your heart's content. So, I hope that you will be able to live in poverty by giving to the poor like the Lord for mission and purpose.
