Title: Jewish Law and Christian Law
To the people of Israel, God gave laws concerning the flesh. The law concerning the flesh is the law that God gave humans to live by keeping in the flesh. However, there is no one who can fully keep the law and live with flaws. The reason is that the law is a violation of all the laws if you do it right ten times, and do it wrong even once. “Whoever keeps the whole law, but stumbles in just one, has transgressed all of them!” (James 2:10)
The law was given to the Israelites through Moses. Moses was called by God to go up to Mount Sinai, fasting for 40 days and nights, and received the Ten Commandments written on stone tablets, which are the foundation of the 613 laws. Therefore, the 613 laws are based on the Ten Commandments. But from Abraham to Jacob, there was no law. At that time, before the people of Israel were born, there was no law, only the grace of God. But even before the law came, death was already reigning in this world.
One important fact is that even before there was a law, a law like the law already existed in the ancient Near East. And the fact is that such laws are already in use in each country. So, if you look at the laws currently in use by Middle Eastern countries, you can see that similar contents to the laws are still in use today.
Considering this fact, we can see that God does not give laws that humans cannot follow at all, but rather sets laws that are already used in the human world as laws. However, there is one thing we must be aware of here. It means that even if there is a law that already exists in the world, God's punishment will follow if God sets it as a law and says it. So, there are many differences from the methods that humans make and use. The laws made by humans only have to avoid human eyes, but God's laws apply equally to everyone because no matter how much they avoid human eyes, they can never escape God's eyes.
For example, let's take the saying "You shall not steal". If these words were ordained by God as a law, from then on, these words will follow with punishment. In the book of Job, we see the devil accusing God. Likewise, those who violate the Word of God and commit sins must be accused (claimed) by the devil against God. Even God can't ignore the devil's claim to those who break the law and commit sins.
The reason is that if God does not accept the devil's request, then God also becomes a lawless man. God's law is so strict. Therefore, those who break God's law will inevitably suffer bodily pain in return. That is why, among the Israelites, there were a lot of physically ill people. The reason that God sent His Son before them is that He sent His Son before them to save those who were physically ill because they broke the law and had no choice but to live according to the law and were stricken by poverty.
So, what kind of life are the Christians today who have received the Holy Spirit and became the spiritual Israelites? Christians today are very harsh on the Jewish legalists. They say that they are set free from sin because they believe in Jesus. Are Christians today really free from sin?
If any of you reading this think that they have been set free from sin because they believe in Jesus, I would say to him, "Look into your heart." If not, I would like to say that you are truly a free man." But there will be no such person among the Gentiles yet. The reason is that the Son of God has not yet come before the Gentiles.
Even Christians, no one is free from sin yet. If you don't believe it, take a look inside your heart right now. What thoughts come up in your mind every day? Don't hatred, envy, jealousy, anger, and constant greed and greed occupy your heart?
The Gentiles called on the name of Jesus who came to the land of Israel and received the law of the Holy Spirit. The law of the Holy Spirit did not come to forgive man's sins and lead to salvation. He came to serve as a schoolteacher to find out sin in the hearts of Gentiles who believe and lead them to the Son who will be sent to God in the future. However, humans are trying to reach salvation through the law of the Holy Spirit. This is terribly wrong.
If the law is a law given to the flesh of the Jews, the law of the Holy Spirit is a law given to the hearts of the Gentiles who believe. Gentiles who believe through the law of the Holy Spirit must know who they are. Like the law, the law of the Holy Spirit is good ten times, but if you do it wrong once, you will commit all kinds of sins. If the law is 613 laws, then the law of the Holy Spirit is a spiritual law that includes all thoughts that come up in the human heart.
Even though believing Gentiles are living with these sins in their hearts every day, if they say, “I have been set free from sin because I believe in Jesus,” such a person is already far from salvation. Because such a person will not believe in the Son whom God will send in the future. This is the same reason as the Pharisees saying that they no longer need to believe in the Son whom God has sent because they have kept the law perfectly.
Like the law, the law of the Holy Spirit also becomes a sin before God if a believer does not keep it, so the devil will accuse God at this time as well. Even at this time, God cannot ignore the devil's accusation. If you ignore it, this will also be illegal. God will punish those who disobey the Holy Spirit in the same way, but the punishment he gives at this time is not given to the flesh, but to the human heart. This is what sets them apart from the Israelites. The punishment given to the heart when you disobey the Holy Spirit is to cause a dead spirit (ghost) to blind the human heart and lead to more and more distance from God. In other words, the mind is desolate.
So today, even those who trembled with fuss as if they were going to take their eyes off when they first received the Holy Spirit, as time goes by, their hearts become colder, like when they did. Even those who were filled with the Holy Spirit at first cannot overcome the temptations of the world and go to the Fall because of these reasons. Pride is the vanguard of destruction, and this is what the saying goes. In the end, all human beings turn away from God because of their pride that seeks to be exalted.
And those who have received the gifts of the Holy Spirit, at first start with all the gifts, but later, they resist the Holy Spirit and become arrogant without knowing it, so God collects all the gifts. It was as if he had taken the Holy Ghost from King Saul, who had been disobedient. Gifted people do all sorts of bizarre things from then on when the gift leaves them. (As a good example, the laughable incident that the director of a prayer center had the gift of healing at first, but later, when it appeared and sat down, he spread dough on the affected area of the sick person.)
Unlike the law, the law of the Holy Spirit includes all thoughts that are happening in our hearts, so it is impossible to say just a few things like the law. It would not be an exaggeration to say that a person with many thoughts commits just as many sins. On the contrary, it can be said that a person with few thoughts is committing relatively few sins. Even so, in God's eyes, all are the same sinners.
The laws of the world are discovered by people's eyes, but if they don't, there will be no punishment for repeating the same thing as many times as possible. Also, the laws of the world cannot be trusted because they shrink and increase like a rubber band. Even if someone steals, punishment can be avoided as long as it goes unnoticed by law enforcement officers and people. Even if you are caught stealing, the punishment increases and decreases like a rubber band depending on the price of the goods when they steal cheap or expensive things. For this reason, the laws of the world are never fair.
And human beings also have a law of conscience. However, the law of human conscience is also not fair because it shrinks and expands like a rubber band. For example, the remorse that a person receives from their conscience when they steal 10 won and the remorse they receive from their conscience when they steal 10,000 won are different for each person. And after the human conscience repeats the same thing a few times, later the conscience becomes numb, so that he does not feel that it is a sin at all, and he commits a bigger crime. In the end, even the human conscience cannot be trusted.
However, according to the law of the Holy Spirit given by God, even if you steal 1 won, a sin will be established, and even if you steal 100,000 won, a sin will be established, and the devil will accuse God. The reason God gave this strict law to his believing people is to make them realize that no one is free from sin. This is because human beings must not be free from sin in order to believe in the spiritual Son that God has sent. The reason God first gave the law to the people who believed in Him and made them live under it is so that they could trust Him well.
If the children of Israel, who lived under the law, violated the law and were physically ill, the Son of God came in the flesh and was whipped for their sins. A spiritual son must come before the Gentiles who believe in order to solve the problem of becoming increasingly distant from God. In this way, we must drive out dead spirits (ghosts) from the hearts of Gentiles and establish Christ as the master of man so that they do not go back to the Fall. This is the true salvation of the Gentiles.
There must be a dead spirit in the corrupt heart of man. This is also true for those who have received the Holy Spirit. Even those who have received the Holy Spirit are constantly experiencing hatred, envy, jealousy, anger, greed and greed just like unbelievers.
Only when spiritual people are freed from these dead spirits can they achieve true salvation. The Holy Spirit never solves these problems because he came to give the law to the Gentiles who believe. In order to have this problem solved, it can only be solved through the spiritual Son sent by God. Therefore, those who are truly born again have the Spirit of Christ, the living Spirit, in their hearts. -If you have open spiritual ears, please listen and understand-
