Title: John 13:19 - Foreknowledge
Contents
From now on, I have told you ahead of time before it happens, so that when it happens, you will believe that I am he.
"I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am He.
1. What God is doing
God made it happen.
God has warned you, those who believe.
God foretells things before they happen.
God did not tell us what happened after it happened. God always foretells things before they happen. Occasionally there are those who wish to prove that the time of the prophets' activity is earlier than the recorded date. By proving this way, it is even said that it is the limit of the Bible to reinterpret events that have already occurred from the perspective of the prophets. Of course, there are cases like that, but even so, the written words are prophetic books that are meant to inform the results of what will happen later. This is because the prophets had no choice but to record events that had already occurred in order to focus on the consequences of disobeying the Word. However, among those prophecies, they warn of things that are bound to happen again and again. The only difference is the object of nations and peoples, but it is the prophets and the Bible that foretells the consequences of those who do not obey the Word before they happen. After all, it is the word that God foretold before it happened that allowed God to record all his words. The same is true of the restoration to the Garden of Eden. It is because it is only possible to restore the image of God and the breath of God before the sin was given by the word given in advance before things happen.
From now on, God has foretold this before it happened.
God's point of view is always from now. If God decided to only take issue with the past, all people in this world would inevitably perish. God has made it possible for anyone to attain eternal life as long as they repent because it is okay from now on. God emphasized the point of time from now on to those who have hope for the future. Because even the future is made from now. God never returns to the past. Nevertheless, even the Jews, who were branches of the original olive tree, had no choice but to cut it because they constantly tried to return to the past. With regard to all the sins of the past, even if they are serious or habitual, God allows them to become Abraham's descendants if they bear the fruit of repentance from now on. In order to prevent that from happening, we have to be someone who listens to the words spoken to us in advance and keeps them in our hearts or keeps them in our hearts.
(1) From now on, before things happen, I have told you in advance, when things happen.
God gets things done.
God does exactly what He said through Jesus. Everything was fulfilled in time according to the words spoken through the prophets before Jesus. How much less the words of Jesus will come true, but He will fulfill them fully or completely. God hears everything Jesus says. God the Father loved the Son and gave all things into his hands. The reason Jesus, the Son, was able to receive this kind of love from God was because he laid down his life in order to take it again. Although Jesus had all things and had authority in heaven and on earth, Jesus focused on fulfilling only the words that God had written down. He even gave up his life to accomplish this work.
God prepared when things would happen.
God always gets things done. He also fulfills the written word. He made it known through Jesus in advance in order to prepare for the time when it would happen as the written word was fulfilled. Blessed are those who know and do them, but those who do not know and obey the written word become like Judas Iscariot. Even when God prepares for things to happen, he also prepares them through Jesus. In order to prepare you through the words of Jesus, you always supported the words that Jesus spoke. That is why Jesus looked up to heaven and said thank you for always listening to me.
(2) From now on, before this happens, I tell you in advance, so that you may believe that I am he.
God makes you believe.
It is because of people's faith that God makes His Words recorded and works according to them. Because only faith can be saved, only faith can achieve the salvation received, and only faith can enter the kingdom of heaven. Because without faith it is impossible to please God, and without faith there is no reward. When God makes you believe, above all else, He makes you believe through the Word. Since no one has seen God, everyone has no choice but to believe through the Word. The reason God values His Word so much is because it is the most important part of having faith.
God makes us believe that Jesus is Him.
God sent Jesus as the Christ into this world. God has never sent anyone other than Jesus into this world. God only sent Jesus as the Christ, and he has no intention of sending a Christ like Jesus before or after. It is because Jesus alone is enough for Christ, and only one Christ can save the world. The only reason the world is condemned is because light has come into this world, but people love darkness more than light. In order to make us believe that Jesus is the one, God made it known through Jesus before things happened.
2. The heart of God
You want to believe that it was foretold
God has foretold it in His Word.
God has always told us in advance through His Word. I've never been told anything else in advance. Even if we keep only the words that God has told us in advance, we have no choice but to say Amen when it comes to pass. Of course, Jesus said Amen in advance even before the Amen was fulfilled. The words that Jesus spoke with the truth and truth were originally said while saying Amen Amen. If you can't say Amen in advance like Jesus did, at least even after things are done, He wants you to believe that Jesus is Him and say Amen. The words that have been told in advance will surely come true, so if you say Amen and have hope, the time will come when you will come to believe that Jesus is Him.
Matthew 1015 ?쏷ruly I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for it??
God made it happen.
What God had foretold through Jesus was when he sent out his disciples. He foretold what would happen when he sent out his disciples. Because even if the disciples preach and teach the name of Jesus, there will be some who will not receive him or even listen to him. In that case, he made him go out of the house or city and shake off the dust from his feet. Because then it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for it on the day of judgment. The words that Jesus said when he said, ?쏛men,??were foreshadowed in advance because they will come true. He wants us to believe in these words and not lose courage and to become those who bear witness to the name of Jesus.
3. Who God is
You are a forerunner
God is the One who foretells with His Word and does what He has told Him to do. Jesus, like God, is the One who foretells us so that we can believe that it is Him.
4. Traces of Jesus (Confession and Sharing)
(1) The blood of Jesus - Not believing in the words that were told in advance
(2) The life of Jesus - what we decided to believe
5. Prayer
I don't believe what I said before
Let me know that it is him by the words I told you in advance.
Relying on the words of someone who guessed in advance
Let me know that the progress you have made is progressing.
Being scared ahead of time and doing nothing
Make me a person who does what you said
forgive me
Make me a preparer, just as you have told me in advance.
