Title: John 13:8 - Jesus cares

Contents

Peter said, "You will never wash my feet." Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."

"No," said Peter, "you shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."

1. What God is doing

God makes it matter.

God does it through Jesus.

God has nothing to do with the unwashed.

(1) Peter said, "You will never wash my feet. Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."

God exalts Jesus' words above Peter's.

The words that Peter came to were in accordance with the principles and principles of the world. What Peter said was that he was a disciple and Jesus was a teacher, so when he washed Jesus' feet, he was washed, but Jesus, the teacher, could not. But Jesus was baptized even by John the Baptist. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist to do what God had told him to do in order to accomplish God's righteousness, even though he had no sin to wash away and had no need to repent. The reason Jesus washed the disciples' feet was because God caused them to be washed, and Jesus, the Word, was washed because he had nothing to do with God only when he was washed.

God even made Peter wash.

Jesus washed not only Peter but also Judas Iscariot. Because Jesus loved his own person even to the end, and loved him to the end. Jesus said that he would not lose anything until the end, but only the children of perdition, but Judas Iscariot brought himself to life as the children of perdition. Peter's confession that he could never wash himself was filled with courage and courage when Jesus said that you have nothing to do with me unless I wash you. Even Peter, who said that Jesus could never wash himself, was washed, and even Judas Iscariot, who had no choice but to go his own way, was washed in order to always fulfill everything as written.

(2) Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me."

God listens to Jesus.

God listens to Jesus because Jesus also hears God's words. Jesus never deviated from the written word. You did just what was written. Because Jesus respects the word of God so much, God also exalts Him. He always listened to the words of Jesus. Jesus already possessed all things and had all authority in heaven and on earth. Nevertheless, Jesus never departed from the written word. Because he was such a Jesus, God also heard Jesus' words, exalted him, and was with him, so that all those whom Jesus washed were recognized as clean.

God is with Jesus' answer.

God knew very well that Jesus would never deviate from His will, no matter what he answered. This is because Jesus made even food to do the will of God and to complete his work. Most people today are worried about what to wear because there is not enough information about what to eat or drink here, but Jesus did not provide food with these things, but only doing the will of God. At that time, he got up from his dinner and washed the disciples' feet.

2. The heart of God

want to care

God only cares about those whom Jesus washed.

God doesn't care if someone else is washing or washing himself. Even those who wash themselves clean in the sauna every day, God never cares. God only cares about those whom Jesus washed. God only cares about those whom Jesus washed because only Jesus can cleanse people. A person whom Jesus has not made clean, no matter how clean on the outside, is full of evil thoughts on the inside. Even Judas Iscariot, whom Jesus had washed even at the supper, became defiled again because the world constantly defiles people.

Ephesians 4:16 “By him the whole body is joined and united with the help of each joint, working according to the measure of each member, so that the body grows and builds itself up in love.”

God makes each member a member.

God cares through Jesus. God makes each member a member through Jesus. He made it possible for the whole body to receive help through every joint from Jesus. Without Jesus, those who have no help, no connection, no union are brothers and sisters. God works according to the measure of each member. Those who have a constant relationship with God will make your history continue. He not only makes the body grow, but also builds itself up in love. Because only Jesus is the head. Only in his love could he do true things, and he allowed him to grow up.

3. Who God is

You care

God cares through Jesus, but by washing. He is the one who not only cares about the one whom Jesus washes, but also makes him grow by making him a member of him.

4. Traces of Jesus (Confession and Sharing)

(1) The blood of Jesus - It didn't matter what Jesus was doing

(2) The life of Jesus - what we choose to do with Jesus

5. Prayer

Even if you try to care by washing me

too dirty to wash, or

What I didn't want to wash with the world

forgive me

Wash it daily so that you may have something to do with Jesus.

Only by that love, let Jesus be delayed.

Help me to do even the true things with that love

Let him grow up to him with love.

God only cares if you wash your feet. Jesus has already cleansed His disciples with His Word. Among them was Judas Iscariot. However, Judas Iscariot did not obey the word no matter how much he cleansed it with the word. Those who are pure in the word are no longer those who go their own way. Like Jesus, we are the ones who go the way God has given us. Jesus is the way because only Jesus went the way that God has suggested. Humans stumble and stumble along the way, so they have no choice but to wash their feet. At least, if you want to follow Jesus, the way, you must abandon your own values so that you will no longer be swayed or swayed. You should not put forward your own thoughts or experiences. However, Judas Iscariot adhered to his values until the very end, so even when the devil tried to put in evil thoughts, he did not refuse. That is why God cares only for those who wash their feet every day.
