Title: John 8:2 - Teaching us
Contents
When he entered the temple again in the morning, all the people were coming, and he sat down and taught them.
At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him,
and he sat down to teach them.
1. What God Does
God teaches people through His Word. God teaches man by his word because man was created to be taught by God. If you do not receive the teachings of God, you will have no choice but to become like irrational beasts. Beasts were created not to be taught by the Word of God. When God created the beast, He already created it with the Word. Therefore, there is no beast that disobeys the Word of God except for the beast that represents the devil. All creatures except humans, whether they are beasts or whatever, are completely obedient to God's Word. God is already intervening, intervening, and ruling us through his providence and instinct. If the creatures created by the word of God do not obey the word of God, then this world has no choice but to become a world ruled and guarded by animals, not by humans.
When Jesus, the Son of God, came into this world, He constantly did His work of teaching, preaching, and healing. These three things Jesus did are interrelated. Teaching is inextricably linked with preaching. In some places, it appears as preaching and suddenly it ends with teaching. Teaching and preaching are not separate, but only change according to place and time. Jesus did not come into this world to heal only the human body. If Jesus wanted to heal only the human body, no further words would have been needed. It would have been enough just to heal the bodies of those who came before Jesus silently. However, the reason Jesus was taught and preached, along with healing, was because He taught and preached to heal not only the human body, but also the more importantly, the soul.
Those who have been preached with the gospel of Jesus must be constantly taught by the words of Jesus. So even that soul must be healed. To fully achieve the salvation we have received is the process of healing the soul. The human soul is wrong as it goes wrong. You can see the Jews well, especially the chief priests, the Pharisees, the scribes, the elders of the people, the Herodians, and the Sadducees. Even those who believe in Jesus must be constantly healed with the Word until the day Jesus comes again. Otherwise, even those who believe in Jesus will believe in Jesus while insisting on their own values. It is believing in the God whom you have established. In order for that soul to be constantly healed, it must be taught by the words of Jesus. You must be taught with all the words of the Old and New Testaments. Only then can our souls be healed and we can be transformed into those who please God.
(1) He came back into the temple in the morning and taught them.
Jesus went to the Mount of Olives. You spent the night there. Jesus prioritized or restored his relationship with God on the Mount of Olives. He went to the Mount of Olives in order not to preach the world's words while teaching countless people and not to let the devil seek all the kingdoms and glory that the devil wanted to boast about. And in the morning he went into the temple and taught us with the Word. Because the only thing that can heal a person's soul is the Word, he taught us only with the Word. Even when Jesus taught, he never taught anything of the world. Jesus taught only what God had told him to do. The reason why Jesus taught only what God had told us is because only the words he had told us can heal people, and only the gospel can reveal the power of God.
(2) When all the people came, he sat down and taught them.
When Jesus entered the temple in the morning, all the people came to him because there were those who had already been taught by Jesus. Because there were those who admitted Jesus as the Christ among those who were taught by Jesus. Even the subordinates who were sent by the chief priests and Pharisees tried to arrest Jesus and returned without touching him because even the subordinates were taught by Jesus. When reporting about Jesus after receiving the teachings of Jesus, either voluntarily or unintentionally, they were the ones who risked everything to report that no one had ever said as he said.
Those who have been fully taught by Jesus have no choice but to come back to Jesus. Because the Word is addictive. The addictiveness of the word is addictive, unlike drugs or the addiction of this world. If you are addicted to something other than the Word, you are killing people more and more, not saving people. However, the more you become addicted to the Word, the more it appears as an addiction that saves people. The addictiveness of the Word not only saves the body, but also the soul. Physical exercise is only of little benefit. But godliness is even beneficial in all things. Those who come before Jesus and are taught by Jesus can even benefit in all things through His words. Not only that, but even the soul of a person can be revived, the image of Christ can be restored, and one can be filled with life. The best thing above all is to be taught only by the words you have spoken to.
2. The heart of God
When you teach, you want to be taught
God wants His people to be taught by His Word. He also wants to be taught in the morning. They also want to be taught in the temple. That is why He wants to become a person whose soul is resurrected. He wants us to be restored to the image of God and to be filled with the breath of God. He wants us to become those who live by the power that is revealed in the gospel, even in order to come to faith by faith. He wants to be taught, but not to be taught by the things of the world, but to be taught only by the Word. He wants you to be taught with 100% pure words, knowing that the results are inevitably different from the words of 100% purity and work of purity.
Matthew 28:15 ?쏷he soldiers received money and did as they were taught, and this saying has spread throughout the Jews to this day.
Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead three days later. The women went to the tomb and heard from an angel that he had risen from the dead. Jesus met us and asked if we were in peace. Jesus told the women to go to my brothers and see me there. When the women were gone, the watchmen went into the city and reported all this to the chief priests. They consulted with the elders, gave the soldiers a lot of money, and said that his disciples came by night and stole him while we were sleeping. The soldiers were paid and did what they were taught, and this saying is still prevalent among the Jews to this day. Those who teach by giving money, or those who teach by distorting the truth by receiving money, will inevitably receive a greater punishment afterward.
3. Who God is
You are the one who teaches us
God teaches the people He has called and chosen, but He teaches only by His Word. When it comes to teaching, he does not teach according to money.
4. Traces of Jesus (Confession and Sharing)
(1) The blood of Jesus - what they did not want to be taught
(2) The life of Jesus - what we have been taught by the word and decided to teach through the word
5. Prayer
being taught from the morning on the things of the world
Teach the things of the world in the temple
What the world taught us
forgive me
Help me to learn from the word
Let me be a teacher who only teaches the word
Please don't distort your words for money.
Let me be a person who teaches only as you have been told.
