Title: John 9:28 - His Disciple
Contents
They reviled him, saying, You are his disciple, but we are Moses' disciples.
Then they hurled insults at him and said, "You are this follow's disciple! We are disciples of Moses!
1. What God Does
God sent His Son Jesus into this world to make His disciples. God made Jesus his people to make his disciples because they can imitate Jesus only when they become his disciples. God said to His Son, Jesus, that this is My Beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Those who imitate Jesus by becoming a disciple of Jesus can also hear the same word from God. It can even be said that this is my beloved child, in whom I am well pleased. God loved the actions of Jesus the most and was most pleased with them. If there had been anything in Jesus' actions that could not please God, God would not have said this. But Jesus never once rejected the love of God and never did not please God. Everything Jesus did was a place to confirm God's love and to please God.
Those whom Jesus made His disciples among the multitudes were to imitate what He had done. It was to make them walk like Jesus until the end of the world. Jesus never did anything at any time. However, it wasn't that he had a lot of plans and did them in the midst of that plan. Jesus did only what God had told him to do. Before sending Jesus into this world, God first recorded everything He did in His Word. Jesus was well aware of this fact, so he did only what God had written. The whole life of Jesus was full of fulfillment of the written word. Jesus fulfilled the written word from his infancy. The beginning of the fulfillment, which began before birth, continued until Jesus left this world and ascended to heaven. Jesus knew well how to receive God's love directly and to please God. It was just doing what was written. Jesus fulfilled only the words that were written throughout his public life, not only when he was a child, but also during his youth.
Those who truly love God are those who do what is written. Those who want to enjoy joy because of God are also those who do what is written. Jesus was well aware of this fact, so he did only what was written. Regarding the place and time, he did just as God had told him to. Because he acted only as it was written, he was led by the Holy Spirit just as God led him in regards to place and time. Human beings have no choice but to do what is written. However, as it is written, we live as evil people, and we end up with eternal punishment, or as it is written, we become righteous through faith, which leads to eternal life. No matter how well-born a person is, he cannot escape from the written Word. The march along the written path that began in the Garden of Eden has continued to this day. Because God only does what He writes. God has never acted outside the written word. Even when they said that they would surely die, Adam and Eve did not accept these words as they were, but as it is written, people are surely dying right now.
Being a disciple of Jesus is no different. Like Jesus, we do what is written. Disciples of Jesus are those who know that only the written word is eternal and do what is written. Disciples of Jesus did not exist only at the time of Jesus. Jesus not only raised his disciples at that time, but he is still raising them up to this day through his disciples. The eleven disciples went to Galilee and came to the mountain where Jesus was commanding, to see Jesus and worship Him. Then Jesus declared that He had all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore go ye and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. If the disciples were needed only in Jesus' day and were no longer needed, he would not have preached this command. But Jesus said this because He wanted to raise His disciples not only at that time, but until the end of the world.
Being a disciple of Jesus is a wonderful thing. But the Jews refused to become disciples of Jesus. God has added opportunity and power to His chosen people. Even salvation came through the Jews. Nevertheless, the Jews refused to become disciples of Jesus. Only by becoming a disciple of Jesus can we realize God's love, please God, and be filled with the joy that God gives us, but the Jews did not want all these things. Even to those who were blind from birth, they said that you were his disciple, but they decided to distance themselves from God's love by confessing that they were not Jesus' disciples. He did not want the joy that God wanted to give. The same is true of modern Jews. Those who confess that Jesus is the Christ have not resolved their decision to be excommunicated, so the love they enjoy is not God's love. The joy they enjoy is also lying that the joy of the world is God-given joy.
(1) They reviled and said, "You are his disciple,
Disciples of Jesus have no choice but to be reviled the same as then and now. The reason Jesus' disciples cannot but be reviled like Jesus is because they do what is written like Jesus. This world is a world where people do not curse unless they do what is written. The devil hates things that have been written the most. Because if it is done as written, it is as clear as fire where you will find yourself in the future. That is why the devil is constantly distorting the written word. It even proves through various sources that the world is not going as it is written. But the disciple of Jesus is not one who believes in these lies. He is so good at lying that he does not believe the words of those who say they are their own.
(2) You are his disciple, but we are Moses' disciples.
God sent Moses before his son Jesus, so that through Moses, he might realize that Jesus was the Christ. So, when God made the records through Moses, he had them write about Jesus. As a disciple of Moses of the Jews, even if you were faithful to the law of Moses, you cannot know that Jesus is the Christ. It is still the same today. The Jews did not believe in Moses, nor were they faithful to the law of Moses. They did not even believe in God, so they did not even know the Jesus whom God had sent.
God made the Jews to be Moses' disciples. But the Jews did not live as Moses' disciples for forty years in the wilderness. So did the later Jews. The Jews never lived as disciples of Moses at any time. If I had lived as a disciple of Moses, I would have known the will of Moses, and if I had known the will of Moses, there would have been no way I could not have confessed that Jesus was the Christ. If they were true Moses' disciples, they had no choice but to become 100% of Jesus' disciples. Because he was not a disciple of Moses, he could not become a disciple of Jesus, and he cursed even those who were blind from birth who were trying to become disciples of Jesus. To curse a person who was born blind by calling him a disciple of Jesus is an insult on behalf of Jesus. The Jews were not Moses' disciples, they just sat in Moses' seat. These are the people who spoke only and did not act. If you were a disciple of Moses, you had to be faithful to the law of Moses. Instead of being faithful to the law of Moses, everyone tried to become Moses, not a disciple.
2. The heart of God
wants to be his disciple
God wants His people to become disciples of Jesus. He wants to become a disciple of Jesus and to be reviled like Jesus. He wants us to be reviled because we have done what is written. The reason why people get reviled for not doing what is written is because the Jews who used to be Moses' disciples are doing well. A person who is reviled for doing what is written like Jesus, who is reviled, can become a complete disciple of Jesus. He is a person who is good at teaching and keeping. He said that he was a disciple of Moses, but in the end, he wanted to be a disciple of Jesus, not just sitting in the seat of Jesus. Jesus wants me not to enter the circle of those who say that I do not know him after becoming a man who speaks and does not do anything.
Matthew 9:14 ?쏷hen John?셲 disciples came to Jesus and said, ?쏻hy do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast???
This is when Jesus made his disciples Matthew the tax collector. When he saw Matthew the tax collector sitting at the customs office, he told me to follow me. Jesus ate with many tax collectors and sinners. When the Pharisees raised an objection because of this, Jesus said, ?쏷hose who are healthy have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. Then John's disciples came to Jesus and said to him, "Why do we and the Pharisees fast, but your disciples do not fast?" Jesus said the wedding guests cannot mourn while the bridegroom is with them. He wanted to become a perfect disciple of you while talking about pieces of raw linen and new wine.
3. Who God is
He is the one who makes his disciples
God through His Son Jesus makes all who believe become His disciples. He is the one who makes the disciples of Moses and even the disciples of John the Baptist his disciples.
4. Traces of Jesus (Confession and Sharing)
(1) The blood of Jesus - Not being his disciple
(2) The life of Jesus - what he chose to be his disciple
5. Prayer
I didn't want to be insulted, so I became a disciple instead of a disciple
In the place where I was cursed, I avoided midway.
The further and further away from the written word
forgive me
Make me a perfect disciple of Jesus.
Make me do what is written like Jesus.
Let me be the guest of the wedding house with the groom
Don't be afraid of being insulted and losing your life.
