Title: Jordan's Miracle
The miracle of the Jordan (3:1-8)
Dear saints, I pray that the spiritual grace and blessings of our Lord will overflow to you and your families this morning as well. The text tells us that the Israelites miraculously crossed the Jordan River. In obedience to God's command, the priest carried the ark and entered the Jordan River, and a wonderful miracle occurred. The flowing Jordan River stopped and accumulated like a dam, and the water that flowed into the Red Sea continued to flow. So the Israelites crossed a dry river. When the people of Israel faced a great difficulty blocked by the Jordan River, God miraculously solved the problem. This morning, I want to share the grace with you while thinking about this Jordan miracle.
I. The Jordan miracle happened when we looked at and followed the ark of the covenant.
“He said to the people, “When you see the Levite priests carrying the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, leave your place and follow him.” This was done so that all the people could see clearly. It was placed between the ark of the covenant and the people of Israel so that more than two million people could see it. “Then you will know the way you will go, for you have not traveled this way before” (4) This road is blocked by the Jordan River. It's an unknown road I've never been on. However, if you look at the ark of the covenant and follow it, God will lead the way.
What does the ark of the covenant of Jehovah mean? It signifies the presence of God. The command to look at and follow the ark of the covenant is God's command to look at me and follow me. This means that the way will be opened in the Jordan. When the Israelites crossed the Jordan River, it was March and April, when wheat was harvested, and it was flood season with a lot of rain. The Jordan River in front of the Israelites was a great river that overflowed with floods. How could the Israelites cross the Jordan River? Most of these people were born in the wilderness and grew up in the wilderness. People who haven't seen the water. So it is impossible for the Israelites to cross this Jordan River. But God speaks. “Look at the Ark of the Covenant and follow it” “Then you will know the way you will go” “The way will be opened for you” Beloved! The Lord speaks to us today. “Look only at me and follow me, and the way will be opened for you, and all your problems will be solved.”
A naval officer named Peter Saro was in distress in the Pacific Ocean. When I woke up, it was a dark night. It was floating in the open sea, relying on a piece of plank. The leg was deeply wounded and the pain was unbearable. A herd of sharks was swarming around him. Peter remembered attending Sunday School as a child and prayed. But something strange happened. I see a Sunday School classroom from 20 years ago. You can see a portrait of Jesus hanging on the wall. Jesus in that portrait is now with his arms outstretched to come toward him. So, looking at the Lord, he began to swim towards him with all his might. An amazing power surged. As you swim, the sharks retreat. Then a warship appears beyond the horizon. It is said that the warship found a survivor and rushed to the rescue at full speed. Peter saved his life when he looked at Jesus and swam toward him.
Dear all! No matter what difficulties or difficulties you face, I hope that you will only look to the Lord and go toward the Lord. I pray that the Jordan miracle that solves the problem will happen in your life.
II. The Jordan miracle happened to those who were sanctified.

Dear all! I pray that you believe and obey God's promises. Even if it is against me, I hope you will believe and obey me. So, I pray that you will experience the miracle of Jordan. I pray that you will become blessed saints who testify of God's miracles.
