Nevertheless, trials come to us unannounced like uninvited guests, bewildering and saddening us. Through today's Word, God explains that the answer to the test we face is the same as taking the test for a better life by studying hard.
Therefore, he who has no test is dead, because it means that he has no better learning, no knowledge, no life. But being tested is proof that you are alive and that you have the potential to have a better life.
2. Patience training ground - When the test is completed, there are things that burn out and disappear. However, when a fiery test comes, some things become purer and more valuable.
Among them, gold and diamonds are loved by people all over the world. If gold is refined by fire, it turns into pure gold as it is refined, emitting a more dazzling light and possessing strong power.
The dazzling light of diamonds is a gem that makes every woman's heart flutter, and the rich do not spare money to own a good diamond.
But examining the diamond's molecules reveals that it's a chunk of carbon. The pencil lead we used is a lump of carbon, and the coal we use as fuel is a lump of carbon.
Nevertheless, if this carbon is not destroyed by bursting in high temperature and perseveres and endures, the black mass of carbon is transformed into a diamond that emits such a brilliant light.
3. Rejoice completely - Therefore, the Lord commands us to consider those who are tempted to be joyful. It also means to be completely happy. No matter what test we face, as long as we endure it well, a more valuable life is guaranteed and more wonderful blessings are guaranteed.
Not only that, He promises that if you perfect your patience, He will make you a perfect person, and will make you ready for everything, so that you will not lack anything in the sight of God or people.
So even if you are happy, you have no choice but to be completely happy. To be completely happy is to rejoice all the time. It is about not worrying in the slightest and rejoicing.
4. We lack wisdom.-Nevertheless, we are foolish and lack wisdom, so if we are subjected to a test that is difficult to bear, God's request does not take our position into account at all, but it is a command and cannot be defended. There is.
I want you to believe that the Lord's commands are never of a nature that we can judge by our knowledge and experience and decide whether to fail or not. God's command is to say Amen in faith and obey. He tells us to pray earnestly for God to give us the strength to overcome when the temptation is too strong. He gives wisdom to heaven and gives strength from heaven, without reproach, but pouring out generously, so that we may overcome more than we can.
5. Conclusion: Temptation is God's tool that refines us and makes us more valuable. Therefore, we must not become fools who drown in temptation and suffer and lose strength and die.
