Title: Joy of Rediscovery

Joy found again (Luke 15:11-24)
The parable of the prodigal son is a historical record of redemption that eloquently shows the relationship between God and his people. It is a song that shows the fragility and folly of human beings who realize their true position only after a long wandering. It tells how much repentance of one sinner pleases God. In the name of Jesus, we bless you that we will become the protagonists who shake off the dust of sin that blocks God's light and sleeps in darkness forever, and returns to the God who accepts us happily and finds joy again.
First, the prodigal son who is insane.
To ‘go out of my mind’ is to become ‘maniac’ in simple terms. In this land, there are many people with neurological diseases, such as the mentally ill and nervous people. The insane son unilaterally insisted on a portion (v. 12) without compromising or ejaculating with his father. He was more interested in money than his family and his father. Materialism makes me lose my mind. In the Bible, it is recorded that in the last days people will love themselves and money and disobey their parents. (2 Timothy 3:1) The father of the prodigal son nevertheless divided his property among his sons, so he got the inheritance in one hand. It can be discovered that even a person who has lost his mind can achieve his goals, and the runaway son can be said to be the beginning of the nuclear family system. The son, who preferred money and prostitution over his family and his parents, was a madman who eventually lost his inheritance.
Second, the prodigal son who has returned to his senses.
There was clearly a motive and cause for the prodigal son to turn himself (verse 17). The prodigal son, who became destitute after wasting his fortune, has no food in a famine-stricken country. He filled his hungry stomach with the nut berries that the pigs ate. After suffering tremendous poverty and tribulation, he was able to regain himself. People often lose their minds when they are rich. Had the prodigal succeeded, he would have fallen from luxuries to total ruin. When you have a lot of money, it is easy to fall into the world. Just because you have a lot of material things doesn't necessarily mean you can serve God well. Rather, we can serve God more through poverty. Like the idiom of a lion, anger can be transformed into a blessing, and it can bear the fruits of righteousness and peace. It is very fortunate that the prodigal son came to his senses because of suffering. Therefore, we should not be sad or discouraged in suffering and tribulation. Because that could be an opportunity for blessing.
Third, it is a decision to find joy again.
