Isaiah 5
1. The Vineyard Song (1-7)
① God’s grace to the people of Judah (1-2)
God prepared a fertile mountain for the vineyard, dug the ground, pulled out many stones, and planted the finest varieties of vines. They also built towers to protect the vineyards, built walls, and built fences.
God poured out all the necessary love and devotion for Judah, and he expected good grapes and the finest wine.
② The ingratitude of the people of Judah (3-4)
Despite God's love and grace, it produced wild grapes that were unedible due to their foul smell. The foolishness of Judah, who committed many evil deeds without realizing the grace of God.
③ God’s judgment (5-6)
The owner will set the vineyard fences on fire, and the walls will be trampled down, and there will be no pruning or fertilizing again, and only the thorns will grow.

3. Judgment through war on Judah (24-30)
① Judgment declaration against Judah and its reasons (24-25)
Reason for Judas Judgment (24) - They forsook the law and despised the Word of God.
Thoroughness of Judgment Against Judah (24, 25) - When God reaches out his hand, the judgment will come, and the roots will rot, and corpses will be lined up in the streets.
② Judgment method and result (26-30)
God will severely judge the people of Judah through a strong and cruel foreign army. Therefore, Judah's future will lead to pain and despair, death and destruction, such as 'crying out, darkness, and suffering.
We must remember the fear of judgment for those who forsake the Word of God.
