Title: Kingdom of God (Luke 17:20-25)

Contents Today we will talk about the kingdom of God.

Many people think that the kingdom of God means a fantastical and colorful dreamlike world. Of course, the greatest purpose of faith is in the kingdom of God. If we do not have the Kingdom of God, our hard work and devoted life will be in vain. However, looking at it from another aspect, it is the fact that it is a factor that puts the stomach in danger when considering how many contradictions the lack of understanding of the kingdom of God has created.

The kingdom of God means the kingdom of Basileia or kingship. This word was also used in the Lord's Prayer that Jesus taught his disciples, and it was used to mean the kingdom or kingship of Esau in Your kingdom come (Matthew 6:10).

The Bible has a lot of interest in the kingdom of God. It is also our concern. But in reality, it shows that there were many misunderstandings. When asked when the kingdom of God will come, Jesus clearly states that he will not come so that he can see the kingdom of God. Still, people are paying attention to the question of when the kingdom of God will come. Matthew 12:28 says that if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has already come upon you.

If you cast out demons by the Holy Spirit, it means that the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Also, in Mark 4:30, the kingdom of Hanam is described in parables, saying that it is like a mustard seed. It starts with the smallest seed when planted in the ground, but when it grows into a large tree, it is explained that the birds can rest.

In Luke 13:18, we can see that he is speaking with the parable of the mustard seed while explaining it through parables. It is wrong to think that the kingdom of God will come where people can see it. The Pharisees were asking Jesus the wrong question by misunderstanding that the kingdom of God was just coming. This problem is still serious today. Everyone who believes in Jesus falls into the thought that the kingdom of God will come soon. And then, it creates a sense of crisis that certain actions can or cannot enter by behavior, causing anxiety.

However, this Pharisaic misunderstanding is nothing to worry about as long as we stand by faith. Because the kingdom of God is a kingdom worshiped for the children of faith who are being saved. The disciples also misunderstood about this matter.

In Mark 1:15, Jesus said that the time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent and believe in the gospel. Also in Luke 22:18, at the supper, He said that I will not drink from the vine again from now on until the kingdom of God comes. However, according to today's message, the disciples also wanted to see the day of the Son of Man. Here, a day is a reference to the heavenly common life that will come in the future. I can't experience that at the moment. However, the disciples had a misunderstanding that they expected to experience now. These misconceptions are dangerous content that can easily fall into any era. So we can have right faith in the kingdom of God

and have to live What, then, is the misleading temptation that people are waiting for the kingdom of God. In Luke 15:43, when Jesus was crucified, a man named Joseph of Arimathea boldly went into Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. He was referred to as a person waiting for the kingdom of God. We must remember that it does not come to those who wait for the kingdom of God, but to those who are violent. In other words, the kingdom of God has the meaning of lactation.

So, in verse 23, someone will say to you, “Look, there it is, and it is here. Why? Because we have by faith. The kingdom of God is obtained through faith, and does not come by waiting, running, toil, and striving. It must be accomplished in our hearts through faith as the kingdom of God.

Matthew 7:21 makes it clear that not everyone who says, “Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven,” making it clear that the kingdom of heaven is not given to everyone, but only to those who stand by faith. In Matthew 11:12, it tells us that the kingdom of heaven suffers violence until now, and the violent will take it by force, giving us a lesson that we should put effort and effort in our faith.

There is no doubt that the kingdom of heaven is a fantastic goal for believers. The kingdom of God is a natural goal to possess in any case. However, we must remember that we must not stand in this-and-that-or-blind-waiting fantasy position.

Because the kingdom of God is not hidden in other places, it must be in our hearts. The Lord has taught you to seek first the kingdom and its righteousness. His country is the supreme religious gospel. This country can only be possessed by faith.

May you and I today fill our hearts with the Kingdom of Heaven. We must become people of faith who have been washed away by the power of the Holy Spirit and filled with the kingdom of God. Such faith is the faith in Jesus. I pray that you will become saints of faith who own and live the kingdom of God. For such a person, the gates of heaven are opened.
