Title: Know and Grow (2 Peter 3:1-13)
Contents
Some people find it strange that their grades do not go up despite studying hard for the exam. Knowing must be acquired through an iterative process, and unless it bounces out reflexively, you will not get points. In the past, securing information was power, but now is an era where those who use information well are successful. What must Peter do to become an overcomer in faith? teaches you what to do.
First you need to know. The more the last, the more mockers. They act according to their own lusts, saying that the promises do not come true, and that there is no need to strive because the first is still the same. The world says it will keep getting better the way we want it to. The vision is still being fulfilled, and it forcibly denies that the created earth was judged by water. However, you must firmly believe in the promise that Jesus, the Savior, will come as the judge.
Next you need to grow. People who have been waiting for the day of the Second Coming pour out doubts as to why they are so slow. It seems slow, but in terms of eternity it is a short time. Also, we must grow to the point where we hope for the will of God, who is patient and not slow. It will come quickly at an unexpected time, and you must reach maturity with the passion of love for your soul, confident that there will be a fiery judgment on that day.
Finally, you have to go out. Knowing that, mature saints should go out with more earnest longing for that day with holy deeds and godliness. We must yearn for the kingdom of God to come quickly, for everything to disappear like fire and to reveal a new heaven and a new earth. Through the prophecies of the prophets, the teachings of the apostles, and the words of the Bible of the ministers he has established, he is giving us enlightenment.
Although we live in an age where we are immersed in busy daily life and a lot of information, we know the times of the last days through a life that we always remember so as not to forget, grow to maturity that does not waver, and as saints earnestly longing for the eternal kingdom, we are running to increase the number of saints who are being saved. I wish you a good day.
