Title: You Know This

[Bible Text] Deuteronomy 8:11-18

11 - Take heed that you do not keep the commandments, decrees, and ordinances of the LORD, which I am giving you today, and forget the LORD your God.

12 - You will eat and you will be satisfied, and you will build and live in beautiful houses.

13 - And when your flocks multiply, and your silver and gold increase, and all that you possess,

14 - Afraid, lest your heart become arrogant and forget the LORD your God. The LORD will bring you out of the land of Egypt from the house of slavery.

15 - He brought you through that vast and dangerous wilderness, a low tide, where there were fiery serpents and scorpions, and no water;

16 - He fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your forefathers did not know, all in order to humble you and to test you and to bless you in the end.

17 - And I fear that you will say in your heart, 'By my might and the strength of my hand I have obtained this riches.

18 - Remember the LORD your God, for he has given you power to obtain wealth, so that you may fulfill the covenant you swore to your ancestors as it is today.

Sermon

Moses lived in the world for 120 years. The Bible divides Moses' life into three stages. From infancy to the age of 40, he lived a splendid life as the son of an Egyptian princess. This life is the life people in the world want. The following is a life of conflict and trials in life until the age of 80, taking care of the sheep of his father-in-law Jethro and living as a shepherd at his wife's house. This was a life without purpose and hopeless for Moses. Until the age of 120, it is the life of a leader when Moses leads the Israelites out of Egypt and goes to the promised land of Canaan. It has been a happy and glorious life for 40 years with a lot of trouble and pain and regret in my heart. I think of the days that passed before Moses died in front of the land of Canaan. The 40 years of living in the wilderness was a period of trial in which the Israelites wandered in the wilderness by grieving and murmuring against God like immature children. So Moses is asking them, saying, 'Know this,' with a heart of concern for them.

. After 40 years of living in the wilderness, the Israelites enter the land of Canaan. The blessing of acquiring the land of Canaan was granted to the Israelites who complained and complained to God and promised to return to Egypt. Moses dies because he did not reveal God's holiness at Meribah. The people of Israel entered Canaan, acquired land, accumulated wealth, and lived happily ever after, God said to Abraham, the ancestor of Israel. ear. Because of the promise he made to Jacob. When the Israelites lived in the wilderness, they complained that there was no food they ate and drank in Egypt. Life in the wilderness was very difficult, but they complained about when they would enter the land of Canaan.

. Water must come out of the ground, but there is no water in the wilderness. They must obtain food to live on the land, but there is no grain in the wilderness. And there are many fiery snakes and scorpions that die when bitten and stung. God allowed the Israelites to pass through such a wilderness for 40 years. It was God's grace and miracle that the Israelites lived every day. The food that the Israelites put into their mouths every day comes down from heaven as manna. Whenever I am thirsty, God prepares a spring in the wilderness where there is no water. He makes living water burst out of a rock on a steep and inhospitable land without a single grass. God kept us from getting hurt by serpents and scorpions even after 40 years of living in the wilderness. God became the shepherd who led the Israelites in front of them. The Israelites lived by God's grace for 40 years and experienced what God was like. Yet the Israelites
