Title: Knowing and Realizing Christ
Contents
In the Bible, it was testified, "because of the noblestness of the knowledge of my Lord Christ Jesus", and again it is written, "If we sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there is no more sacrifice for atonement." This means that even if you have received Christ, the knowledge of the truth, you can erase your sins again. He also says, "Knowledge makes you proud."
However, in one place in the Bible it is written, "This is so that they may be comforted in their hearts and united in love, that they may come into all the riches of sensible understanding, that they may understand Christ, the mystery of God.
“Knowing Christ Jesus my Lord” and “knowing Christ, the mystery of God,” are the differences between children and adults. Children may stumble and fall. That's why the Bible says, "The carnal ones, children in Christ," and "they have become deprived of milk and solid food." Also, "Everyone who drinks milk is a child and has never experienced the word of righteousness." "Therefore, let us not forsake the basics of the Christian way, and lay the groundwork for repentance of dead works, faith in God, baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment, but let us go to perfection. We will do this.”
To know is knowledge and to understand is experience. Knowledge is just knowledge. Knowledge without experience is a cloud without water and a fruit tree without fruit.
If the gospel ends with knowledge, it is a dead gospel. The gospel is an experience. The exaltation of Christ is the gospel of knowledge. When Christ is exalted in our body, we “experience the word of righteousness,” that is, the Word becomes flesh and becomes a child of God.
What God wants us to do in Christ is to “experience the word of righteousness” so that “the Word became flesh” with Christ, so that the glory of many children may be revealed.
It is like saying, “I have given them the glory that you have given me, that they may be one, just as we are one.”
The “knowledge of the gospel” is plentiful right now on this earth, but where is the “realizing gospel”? The gospel that only Jesus died has become common, but I can't meet the gospel that died with me. This is the time when the words of the Lord are being fulfilled, "Will you find faith in the world when the Son of Man comes?"
All this can only be done by his grace.
I want to experience these words together. “And we will all become one in the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, until we reach the stature of the stature of the stature of Christ. lest they be tossed and tossed by the winds of God” (Ephesians 4:13-14). Amen
