Calvin said the knowledge of God is the noblest knowledge Words cannot express how empowering we are, as believers, we must know clearly and accurately about God, and we must live in what we have learned and are convinced of.
How can we know God? We need to study God's Word, the Bible. We need to read it in turn every day. We need to read it with an attitude of prayer and humility to seek God's will. And you have to listen to the sermons consistently in this church.
Then what about those who know God?
First, be bold before God.
Verse 3 shows how bold he was before God. We learn here that we must not remain in fear because of sin. Satan is trying to condemn us before God. He is trying to hinder us from coming before God. Christ grants us the grace of redemption and intercedes for our iniquities and infirmities at the right hand of God. Therefore, those who are convinced of the atoning grace of Jesus Christ do not fear God, but come to God. They are children of God. The Holy Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God. Now we must be able to come forward boldly as God's beloved children.
Second, you can be bold in front of people.
In verse 13, the three friends continued to condemn Job, but because Job himself was not guilty of such condemnation, he showed a courageous attitude like heaven in front of his friends who condemned him. He has a bubbly and ambitious attitude. Everyone who knows God can be courageous in front of people. Everyone who knows God stands strong.
God does not use a person who listens to people and shakes to and fro. God does not use a person who stands firm. Even those who serve the Lord's church can serve immediately if they stand strong. By serving the church, you must be able to become a valuable worker
Third, you can be confident with yourself.
In verse 16, since a perverted person will not come before him, this will be my salvation. According to the English Bible, a sinful person will flee from God, but I do not. It is an attitude that you have no qualms in your conscience and you can be confident even of salvation. In verse 18, “Behold, I have stated my circumstances, and I know that I am righteous.” If there is something shameful about his conscience, he is a person who has broken his conscience. How good it would be if he could be open-minded even if he asked his conscience.
If you know God and are not afraid of yourself, you can be bold in yourself.
Dear saints, I hope that God grants grace to each of us so that we may come to know Him more broadly and deeply. God is our loving Father. Because we know God, be courageous before God. Let's deal with it No matter what difficulties you face, be sure that you will never harm me because you know the good God so well.
