Title: Knowing God Rightly / Job 36:1-16
Contents Let's Know God Rightly
(Job 36:1-16)
God is almighty, but despises no one; his intellect is so infinite that he does not spare the wicked alive, he brings justice to the afflicted, he does not turn his eyes from the righteous; he sets him on throne with kings for ever and honors them... If you obey and serve, you will have a prosperous day and a joyful year (Job 36:5-7,11).

Among the verses we read today, Job's friend Elihu is talking about who God is. Of course, it is impossible to know God completely with our limited reason. We can only know from the parts revealed to us through the Bible.
Today we hope that you will be a blessing to us when we think about who God is within the scope of what the text says.
First, God is almighty, and He despises no one.
God is omnipotent God is the one who created everything in the universe with his word. Therefore, he can do whatever he pleases throughout the universe. There is nothing that God cannot do. But in verse 5, God is omnipotent, but he does not despise anyone. In the case of people, it is easy to despise those who do not have something if they have some things. But God does not. Look at Jesus, who has the attributes of God. He forsaken his heavenly throne and came to this earth to call not the righteous, but sinners.
As recorded in Matthew 10:29, God does not forget even a sparrow that flies in the air. How much more will he care for people created in God's image?
Beloved, even though God is on high, He respects those who are lowly. He does not disregard the claims or rights of creation. All people in this world care about God's use and are not worthwhile and important to touch. nothing has been done
Second, God is infinite in intelligence.
God is not only omnipotent, but also a God of wisdom, the object of our love and trust. When we see all things in this world and the universe, we can't help but marvel at his immense wisdom. God's wisdom is an abundance that we cannot measure.
Everything in this world is a witness not only of God's omnipotence, but also of His wisdom.
Third, God is righteous.
God does not always leave the wicked. As the wicked continue to choose evil, they will eventually be destroyed. Look at Noah's flood or the destruction of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. There are cases in which evil people are left as they are in order to give them room to repent. God wants to give evil people a chance so that they do not perish.
Beloved, God is just. In the second half of verse 6, it says, “God takes care of the poor, the oppressed, and the afflicted. God cares not only about their circumstances, but also about their hearts.” So when someone in a difficult situation calls out, He hears and answers.
Beloved, God is omnipotent, but he does not despise anyone. Even though he considers himself to be of little value, he counts only God as valuable. God is infinite in intelligence. God is just and does not spare the wicked; You look back on those who have
Dear brothers and sisters, know God rightly. I believe that God, who is all-powerful, wise, and just, will answer your prayers when you, children of God, ask your prayers.
