Title: Knowledge of God
Isaiah (110) Knowledge of God (Isaiah 44:21-28)
"The Me Seen by Jesus"
Sometimes when we are faced with difficult things, we doubt God's love. “Maybe God has forgotten me?” But God, who created us and saved us, never forget us (verse 21). But He longs for us to return to God's bosom (verse 22). Be sure of the love of God and do not forget that you are valuable before God.
Jesus is like the last year. So, when Jesus passed by, life like abandoned nails that were all broken and put to use cling to Jesus. So the paralytic, sinner, publican, leper, blind, etc., clinged to Jesus as he passed and gained a new life. When Mary Magdalene, a prostitute possessed by seven demons, was captured by the Lord, she became the greatest saint. When the nameless fishermen of a fishing village in Galilee were captured by the Lord, they became the Lord's great apostles.
In the end, whoever gets it is a very important issue that determines the success or failure of life. When the insignificant staff was caught in Moses' hand, it became a channel of power. If we hold onto God's hand like this, God's power will be revealed even through the weak. So how blessed is it to kneel before God?
One day, Jesus went there to heal a man possessed by a demon in Gerasea. At that time, Satan moved the wind to interfere with that work. Then Jesus rebuked the wind (Mark 4:39). If the wind is not a person, why did you use the word rebuke? At that time, Jesus rebuked Satan, the person who works behind the wind. In the same way, Jesus crossed the line and went to Gerasea to rescue a man possessed by a demon, whom everyone turned away from.
The best teachers are those who never give up their expectations even to the poor. In the same way, Jesus did not close his potential to even one madman. How much more will you give up your expectations of us? Even if we are weak when we see ourselves, we are the beings with great potential as Jesus sees us. Therefore, when you see yourself, do not look only from your own point of view, but from God's point of view. Seeing yourself from God's point of view is your true self.
<Knowledge of God>
Praise God for valuing yourself so much and for your salvation (verses 23-24). Don't trust people too much. Especially avoid people who say they know the future. God said, “It drives those who fortune-telling crazy” (verse 25). That means never believe in divination and never listen to it. God does not fall prey to the words of fortune tellers. Also, don't put too much faith in human wisdom. God will make human wisdom and knowledge foolish. Only believe and follow the Word of God.
At that time, God told the Israelites that he would restore Jerusalem, which had been devastated (verse 26). How and through whom? He said that God would give him enough power to dry up the Euphrates River in Babylon, and especially through a Gentile king named Cyrus, the work of restoration would be accomplished (verses 27-28).
The future of the saints is the promised future. Believe firmly in that promise of God. Then grace and peace will abound in your life. After all, grace and peace are proportional to the knowledge of God. The more we know God, Jesus, and the Word, the more peace we get. The more we do not know God, Jesus, and the Word, the more anxious we become. When driving, beginners are anxious because they can only see ahead, but experienced drivers look forward, side, and back while whistling. As such, the more you know Jesus, the more your anxiety will disappear. Knowledge is power.
When a wife went to America for the first time, her husband went to a meeting and was alone in the hotel and was hungry. No matter how much I waited, my husband did not come, and he was in a panicked state because he did not speak English. But as I touched the phone, the waiter came to see if the signal had gone. But I don't know English, so I said, "Kid!" And they made a rooster noise, and he brought a chicken and ate it. Knowledge is power. So try to learn. In particular, make an effort to know God's will a lot through the Bible. As spiritual knowledge increases, grace and peace will abound.
