Title: Land of Magic (Romans 13:11-14)
Contents The foolish atheists in the world laugh at Christendom and Somang and go back to their own way, and Christendom and Hope both fasten their belts of faith and pass through the land of pride and arrive at the land of magic. However, this is a place where you have to be careful because anyone who breathes the air will be anesthetized and fall asleep. When passers-by pass by here, they become sleepy, but when Hope comes here, they start to feel sleepy, but their minds become hazy and they cannot walk properly. So the hope is unbearable and he asks Christian to sleep here. At that time, Christendom resolutely rebuked him and said, “If we fall asleep here, we will never wake up again, so we tell you to calm down and go quickly.
It is said that hope, sleep is sweet to those who have worked hard, but after we sleep here, we will be refreshed, so that we will go forward even better.
Christendom, we must remember that we did not pay attention to the shepherd's attention on the mountain of joy, that we did not lose sight of our eyes on the way for even a moment. Hug me, and the shepherds didn't tell you to beware of drowsiness in this magical land. Calm down, Jesus didn't even tell you to stay awake all the time, shaking hope and waking up. So hope comes to mind again, and if this happened to me while I was walking alone, I would have fallen asleep here, but I don't know how grateful I am to go with a good brother of faith like this. As Ecclesiastes 4:9 says, “Two are born more than one,
So, they comfort each other and go on their way while remembering the grace of the past and bearing testimony.
Dear saints, We are people who are going towards heaven. However, if we sleep in faith, we will be in big trouble. Samson fell asleep on the knee of the prostitute, Delilah, and both eyes were plucked out. David also woke up from his sleep and committed the sin of sinning against Uriah's wife. Peter and his disciples also fell asleep while drowsy and fell into a place where they abandoned Jesus and ran away.
In the parable of Jesus in Matthew 25, it is like ten virgins sleeping and sleeping, and the five foolish virgins who were not ready to meet the bridegroom could not receive Jesus. We must always have the attitude of the apostle Paul. Paul said, “I do not consider myself to have grasped yet, but one thing I have done, that is, forgetting the things that are behind, and grasping the things that are ahead, I press toward the goal for the reward of the above calling of God in Christ Jesus” Phil 3:13-14
Dear brothers and sisters, we are heading towards the new year's goal of '93. This road should not be lazy. Moreover, you should not sleep. I want you to be zealous toward the goal God has given you.
As Christendom and Somang go along the road, Somam bears testimony. He is a man of Heo Young-si, and he lived enjoying the pleasures of the world just like the people there. It was that the sight of his steadfast, fearless faith moved him to decide to trust in the Savior. In particular, Mr. Faith received great strength from his resolute and dignified attitude while he was going through so much pain. So, he decided to convert and followed Christendom.
And when hope loved the world and lived according to the will of the world, there was no hope in my heart and there was no love of God. But after realizing the gospel, I started to repent and the worldly greed disappeared. Now that I read the Bible and pray a lot, no matter how difficult it may be I was told it was solved without it.
Another thing Mr. Som confesses is that he did not immediately repent at that time. It was (1) that they did not realize that God was prompting them to repent, (2) that sin kept giving them pleasure in the flesh, so it was not easy to leave them, (3) it was difficult to leave an old friend, and (4) when they first received grace, their sins were so heavy that they thoroughly that he did not repent. Hope was crushed by sin.
In the end, I was able to realize that I could do nothing with my own righteousness. The truth is that human righteousness is like old rags. In the end, we were able to give thanks and praise through our Lord Jesus Christ. So I decided to hang on to the Lord and confess and pray for all my sins, so I came to believe that I was forgiven and cleansed.
Through faith in this way, my heart is filled with joy, and I am grateful for the overflowing love of the Lord. If I am working for the Lord, I am doing my best regardless of whether or not I am working for the Lord. And because I love all the churches and saints, I and the world have nowhere to go, and there is nothing I can see except the one who redeemed me.
Beloved, I pray in the name of the Lord that we too may live 93 years looking only at the Lord who redeemed us with the same faith as the seed of Hope. Amen
