Title: Laughing Makes You Happy
Gospel of John (91) Laughing makes you happy (John 15:11)
"Don't be too busy"
The Lord, noticing the signs of the cross, said to his disciples, who were immersed in a gloomy atmosphere, in his final will, “May my joy be filled in you” (verse 11). God wants to give joy and joy to the saints.
One of the most representative things that prevents happiness today is ‘lack of play’. Some people are too busy to have time to play. They don't have time for a walk or a swim. There is no time to read, no time to think, no time to laugh, no time to play. If you feel the meaning of life when you are always working on something like that, you will not know the true meaning and value of life.
Thomas Aquinas was a great medieval monk and theologian who would be struck by lightning when he talked about playing with him, but he said: “God created the world and people to play. In order to live like a human, one must learn to play.” This means that playing is also important.
Some people take it too seriously. When I go next to such people, I can't joke at all, and living happily and happily is like committing a big sin, so it's burdensome to go with them. Of course, they are usually nice people, and they have a warm heart on the inside, but they don't want to be close to them. If you think it's difficult to get close like that, you're saying there's something to fix. The more we read the Bible, and the wider our biblical and religious understanding, the more we realize the importance of relationships. Relationships are a key element in the life of faith. Only when we win in personal relationships can we win in faith.
Don't be too serious and too busy. You have to work hard, but you also need to know how to play hard. Discover your worth only in what is busy, and let go of the lazy attitude of not being busy. You can't always live taut. When the bow is not in use, the string must be released so that the bow does not lose its elasticity.

Relax from time to time and say lots of funny things. Generally speaking, people with good humor are loyal, and on the contrary, such a person keeps his position silently even in the midst of hardship. Humor to please others is good, but even better than that is a prank that makes others happy. Humor can happen when the other person misunderstands the original intention, but pleasant pranks make human relationships stronger.
When couples are happiest and when their relationship is strong, it is when they exchange pleasant jokes. I learned how to text on my cell phone the other day, so I sent a lot of prank texts to my wife. Such delightful pranks strengthen the marital relationship more than gifting your wife a pearl necklace. The grains of such small pranks come together to make a real spiritual pearl necklace. When do your children feel the happiest and most secure? It's time to play with mom and dad.
Play, humor and playfulness are essential to happiness. Don't be too serious or too busy. When you are busy, dare to step out of your work. Sometimes you need a surprise! to surprise and marvel when your family goes on an amazing adventure together. So feel God playing happily in nature.
In Nehemiah 8, when the prophet Ezra read the book of the law of Moses, the people realized their mistakes and wept with tears of repentance. Then Nehemiah said, “Go ye, eat the fat, and drink sweet, but give ye to those who have not prepared it; this day is holy to our Lord, do not be troubled, for the joy of the Lord is your strength” (Nehemiah 8:10). God wants to be sure of God's forgiveness and rejoice more than weeping in failure.
Don't say you have to be happy to laugh. In fact, very few people laugh because they are happy. Laughing makes you happy. Laughing brings blessings and longevity. According to the principle of modern laughter therapy, laughter also cures cancer. The best medicine is laughter. It is laughter that brings people closer to each other and brings people closer to God. If you live in response to the environment, you will rarely laugh, but if you overcome the environment and live creatively, you will overflow with laughter, and then life will be the most blessed and beautiful.
