Title: Law and Grace and Truth
Contents
First, the law given through Moses is the law of sin and death, that is, the law of curses. But later, the grace and truth that came through Jesus Christ is the law of the Spirit of life, the law of blessing. The Bible testifies that the law of the Spirit of life is the law that sets us free.
Therefore, he testified, “The law was given through Moses, and grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:17). For they are under a curse, for it is written, Cursed is anyone who does not always do all the things that are written in the book of the law.” (Galatians 3:10) Regarding the law, He testified, "He who is looking into the perfect law of liberty is not the one who hears it and forgets it, but the one who puts it into practice, and this man will be blessed in what he does" (James 1:25).
The only true God, the God of curses and the God of blessing, said of Himself, “I am the Lord, and there is no one but me, and there is no God but me. And the multitudes will know that there is no one but Esau, and there is no one else; I am the Lord, and there is no other; I make light and create darkness; I make peace and create tribulation; I am the Lord, who does all these things. -7), those who hear the words of evidence and think about them are truly blessed.
There is only one true God who can do all these things. Therefore, in order to perfect the children born in his image, he freely made them belong to flesh and blood without cost, so that they were enslaved for the rest of their lives because they were afraid of death.
Regarding this, the prophets testified, “Thus saith the LORD, You are sold without price, and you will be redeemed without money” (Isaiah 52:3), and also, “Come, let us return to the LORD, who has torn us, but He will heal us. He has struck us, but He will bind us up” (Hos 6:1).
Also, as the apostle, “God has imprisoned all in disobedience, so that he may have mercy on all. The depth is the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God; (Romans 11:32-33) To fulfill God's will, good and evil become a curse to those who do not obey and block the way of life, and good and evil become blessings to those who obey, and the way of life is opened, showing infinite mercy is to give
Therefore, “Behold, this man has become like one of us in the knowledge of good and evil, saith the LORD God, lest he stretch out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat it, and live forever.” So the LORD God sent the man out of the garden of Eden, and the land from which he was born. So God drove out the man, and on the east side of the garden of Eden he placed cherubim and a flaming sword that turned every way to guard the way to the tree of life” (Genesis 3:22-24). He testified to those who grew up in the truth, saying, “Solid food belongs to those who have grown up, and by using their senses, they are trained to know good and evil” (Hebrews 5:14).
Those who know good and evil are those who know good and evil because they are crucified with Christ and are with Christ in Paradise. It is like the written evidence, “Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone’’ (Mark 10:18). But no one who has not been crucified with Christ can know this evidence.
For this reason, He testified, "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God" (Rev 2:7). He said, “Come.” He who hears will say, “Come,” and he who is thirsty will come, and whoever wills, let him receive the water of life without cost” (Rev 22:17). Amen, thank you Lord.
