The Law of Acquisition/Matthew 7:7-12
While Adam and Eve were in the Garden of Eden, they worked very little to get anything.
However, after the Fall and being expelled from the Garden of Eden, we had to endure sweat, toil, and suffering to obtain it.
We are living in a world where the rules of life have changed.
God has placed a law in this world that cannot be obtained without asking.
In order for us to live in the world, we must have these two things.
The first is that I have to work hard and sweat to the best of my ability.
The second is to pray to God the Almighty Creator.
Some people depend only on my abilities to live.
Some people rely mostly on seeking and neglect their abilities and efforts.
However, some people develop themselves and become humble, prayerful, and dependent with their efforts and best efforts.
You will be able to discern what is the right posture without saying it again.
This text is about prayer. And the focus is on the response.
How can our prayers be answered correctly? What is that law?
The first is the best rule.
In verses 7 and 8, the words 'Ask', 'Search', 'Knock' are used.
Seeking, seeking, and knocking can be explained by different actions, and can be interpreted as stories that emphasize the same thing over and over again.
Whatever you interpret, it's "best" to be grouped together.
The best of prayer is not just asking.
The act of prayer is fundamental. This is the most important thing you should always do.
I have to ask God because I believe He will give me what I want.
I have been praying continuously for 6 months to get something.
But nothing was given to me.
But suddenly the thought of finding it began to come to me in prayer.
How do I find it? As I started to think about it, my prayers began to become concrete and prayers began to become more interesting.
If the seeking weakens the seeking, there is a problem.
There are too many superficial things in our prayers. There are many cases where I pray and then forget that prayer.
For prayer to be concrete, the body must be moved. It's something you should be looking for.
You must have diligence and sincerity, just as you search for lost pearls and jewels.
I also have a clear conviction and belief that I see and experience while living a short life.
Those who have the best of prayer and the best of effort and sincerity
“God was always with us”
is a lesson.
I have seen and experienced failure. I also saw the darkness that was like a four-legged river.
However, as it turned out, God was not the one who threw things at the same time as he threw food to those who prayed. He was the giver of wisdom. That wisdom was the greatest answer.
There are tears shed because of discouragement and failure. However, through the tears that were shed, God left behind the Pearl of Great Price as wisdom.
The era we live in these days is called the information age.
A few years ago, he always quoted Alvin Toffler's story and said that from 3,000 years of agricultural culture to 300 years of industrial technology, and now the information age culture is coming. But now we are at the center of it.
The characteristic of this age is the age in which knowledge and wisdom are wealth.
It is a world where the value of intangible property is more valued than the value of tangible property.
The knowledge and wisdom that everyone possesses is of little value. Values are special and unique, not shared by everyone.
But this is an asset given only to those who diligently seek, persevere, and knock.
Recently, there is one fact that I felt while talking about union with a beautiful church.
It was worthy of the name of the church.
A church name may be nothing.
If you are bored, there are many churches that make a difference by changing the name of the church.
In a situation where the need for church unity is not greatly recognized, we have been working positively when this issue came up, but in the end, other prerequisites arose. As the most important condition among them, I was asked to give up the name of Hanwoori Church and use it as a beautiful church.
You can give up anything for something more precious.
However, I have come to realize that the value the name gives to our church is not small.
The communal character and vision that was made up of members like this were deeply cherished in the name of 'Hanwoori'.
Others may laugh when they see it, but I've said this to someone before.
【The value of the brand as the name of our church is the
I consider it many times greater than material and tangible values.]
I was happy when I coined the name 'Hanwoori' 10 years ago in a completely unfamiliar language.
He brought the meaning of 'we' to community by holding only meetings before the founding of the church, and called it 'our church' for several months, and it was a name he got while praying before the church was established.
The first thing I prepared while preparing for the establishment of the church was the 'Church logo'.
It is a symbol that I created after graduating from art school and asking a brother who worked for an advertising design company after giving me the basic composition and materials I wanted.
There is a concern that even the church name and symbol should be patented.
Everyone,
Do you believe that your name and the incomparable 'your own' that you have had throughout your life is greater than any other tangible wealth?
That should be your pride. You should be able to see its value in a big way.
Bill Gates' Microsoft company has a tangible asset value of only $37 billion, but its stock is the most valuable in the world, more than ten times that, at $440 billion.
General Electric (G, E) is said to have an asset value of hundreds of billions of dollars, but its intangible value, on the contrary, is far less than several times.
The best life is the power to create your own wealth that no one else can have.
Even if I do not have the material given to me right now and I do not have success, it is by no means absent.
In the best of our lives, there is a place where our eyes need to be fixed.
That place is Almighty God.
The second law of gaining is the law of looking.
It is God who gives.
He gives us good things as a result.
Verses 9-11 remind us of that fact.
Everyone can live the best life, but
He alone knows what is best for me.
Our asking can also be wrong. Searching is futile, and knocking can be futile.
But it is good that God will give to his people who are in the faith.
“Which of you, if his son asks for bread, gives him a stone, and if he asks for a fish,
Can anyone give me a serpent, even though you are evil,
If you know how to give to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven
Will you not give good things to those who ask?"
Asking for what I need right now is not faith.
Faith is believing that He will give you something good.
Thoughts and plans. How much do we do?
But seldom goes as intended.
Most of the things in the world don't work. Even if it is, there are too many things that are useless as time goes by.
The past me is full of things I don't know, and the present me doesn't know either. How can I know the future me?
So I don't know how good the life of faith is.
I've made a lot of mistakes so far, but I don't know how many more I'll make in the future.
But I am not afraid because of my faith.
It is about having faith, praying, and challenging yourself with the experience, knowledge, and wisdom I have so far.
In a changing world, those who stand still in fear are the most foolish.
I am afraid of age.
I'm never afraid of being anxious. I am afraid that the accident will harden.
Faith and answers are blessings that can only be given in the field of change.
You ask with your lips and stay still, and no answer is ever given.
Edison may be a genius of invention, but more important than that is the principle of invention.
He had six principles.
1. Set a goal and work hard.
2. Find out the steps that must be taken to complete the invention and follow the steps one after another.
3. Keep detailed records of your progress.
4. Exchange experimental results with colleagues.
5. Make sure everyone involved in the project is aware of their responsibilities.
6. Record the results for further analysis.
It was not an invention from one man's brilliant idea and brain.
Even if the world stands still, those who have a will become the embodiment of change and throw themselves at it.
In a world that is changing, even God will not be able to help you if you stand still without thinking.
Look to God!
Expect him to give me good things.
The things God gives me are not things that He sees and gives to me.
I ask you to share.
Today's message is clear.
who will get it!
First, the one who asks gets it.
Second, the beholder gets it.
Third, the one who divides gets it.
You must save it first.
I can't share what I don't have.
The world is governed by the principle of what the seeker gets.
No politician or businessman has achieved it without dream and will.
The world is never easy.
Only a life of earnestly seeking and seeking achieves it.
This is something that even people in the world without God can achieve.
However, in addition to this, God's people must have something to gain as a result of prayer while looking to God, and then share it through giving.
Then God will give you more abundant blessings as a result of that hospitality.
“Treat others as you would like to be treated.”
