Title: Law of Dreaming/Exodus 36:1-7
Content * Text: Exodus 36:1-7, 2 Corinthians 9:7, Mark 12:41-44
Newton discovered the law of universal gravitation by seeing an apple falling to the ground under an apple tree, and Archimedes discovered the principle of buoyancy by seeing water overflowing while entering a bath around 220 BC, and the Wright brothers. I saw flying and invented the airplane. There are many people who learn spiritual laws by watching Enoch and Elijah, men of faith, ascend to heaven.
God created the laws of nature and operates the creation according to those laws. Likewise, there are laws of history and there are laws of causality in morality. All these laws mean truth. There are various laws in economic principles, and there are also fixed laws in spiritual life.
The law of ‘what you sow, you reap’ is both a natural law and a spiritual law, and the analogy of the talents is applied to both an economic law and a spiritual law. However, there are many paradoxical truths in which spiritual laws are contrary to natural laws or economic principles. These are the words ‘if you die, you live’, ‘blessed are the poor’, ‘the lower you go, the higher’, ‘give generously (spending), then you will receive abundantly (income)’, ‘the loser wins’
The law of giving is a special principle. The Bible teaches the truth that the more you share, the more you get.
In particular, I think of the ‘Law of Dreams’ as a spiritual law. Giving thanks to God for all the grace and blessings received from God is the duty that those who have received grace should do.
◎ The law of giving is that God gives much more than that to those who give to God (Luke 6:38, Malachi 3:8-10).
◎ Another dream rule is that you reap what you sow. It is the law, “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully” (2 Corinthians 9:6). Those who seek to reap without sowing, who sow little and reap bountifully, are deceiving God (Matthew 25:24-30).
◎ Another thing is that you reap what you sow, which means 'beans are planted and beans are planted, and beans are planted and red beans are planted'. There is a law that says that if you sow good you will reap blessings, and if you sow evil you will reap curses. This is the law of causality and retribution, a law that is common to all worlds, including nature and society, body and soul.
Anyone who disregards these laws makes fun of God. Such a person cannot be recognized by God (Galatians 6:6-10).
In 'Dream Law', 'What do you give?' questions and 'how do I give?' issue is important.
1. What does God take pleasure in giving?
It is important that we first discern what is pleasing to God to receive.
① God wants us to give ourselves (Romans 12:1-2, Psalm 50:8-15, Psalm 51:16-17). Paul commends the Macedonians for giving themselves first, and then for giving them many tributes.
② God accepts our talents and time with joy. When we think about dreaming, we tend to emphasize only material things. It must be one of God's desires. But God needs our talents, time, and devotion (Ephesians 5:16).
③ God is pleased to receive our true thanks and praise as sacrifices (Hebrews 13:15, Ephesians 5:19).
2. How does God want us to give?
① God is pleased with gifts offered with joy. In the Old Testament, we were commanded to offer a 'free offering' with joy (Psalm 54:6).
② Paul taught that he is pleased with gifts offered voluntarily, not grudgingly or under compulsion (2 Cor.
③ God is pleased with the gifts offered while thinking only about the Kingdom of God toward God with a loving heart, a simple heart, and an honest heart. Jesus praised the poor widow's two lepton (about a quarter of a cent) as a very precious and numerous gift (Mark 12:41-44). This is because this man gave all of his living expenses to God even in difficult times.
conclusion. God is looking for someone to use as a channel to channel His power, love, and resources. Those who are worthy of God's search are those who are open to God and their neighbors. The law of giving is the truth that gives a lot, and the person who gives a lot is rich in much and pours it out so that he can do more.
Jesus said to the man who had the five talents, 'to the one who is open will receive and have an abundance, but from the one who is closed, even what he has will be taken away' (Matthew 25:29).
