Title: Live a Wonderful Life.
Contents
Have a wonderful life.
1 Samuel 2:1-11
Today is a very good day.
We believe that God will give us grace.
What is the title of today's sermon?
“Live a wonderful life.” is.
As the title of the sermon says, I wish all of us who participated here today to live a truly wonderful life. With or without Amen.
Amen, everyone, is very important.
Amen says, “I want to be.” This is what it means.
God said, “I will do as my ears have heard.”
So let's “I will do as I have heard in my ears.”
I wish you a wonderful life.
I wish you a wonderful life ahead of you.
In that sense, let's greet the person next to us.
You look great. You look great. Have a wonderful life.
Today's text is about Hannah, who had problems and was unhappy, praying.
But in today's text, can you see that Hannah is praying?
Are you showing unhappiness?
You can't find anything like that.
Rather, it is recorded that they are happy and that they are happy.
Today's text is about how Hannah, who met God, solved her problems and praised God.
Just as Hannah solved her problems and lived a wonderful life praising God, I pray that you and I will have such a wonderful life.
Everyone, take a look at verse 1 of today's text.
“Hannah prayed and said, “My heart rejoices in the LORD, my horn is exalted in the LORD, and my mouth is wide open to my enemies, for I rejoice in your salvation.”
In the text, Hannah prays and confesses.
My heart rejoices in the LORD.
My horn is exalted because of the LORD.
My mouth was wide open to my enemies.
I hope this confession will be yours and mine.
Do you know why Hannah is happy?
It says that we rejoice over the salvation of the Lord.
What will Jehovah's salvation say?
It means that God gave a child.
It's about giving Hannah a child.
A person who has been barren for a long time has a child by the grace of God.
I have had children.
So, was the joy overwhelming?
So today Hannah is singing that joy.
What do you enjoy in this world and who do you find joy in?
May you find joy in Jehovah.
Hannah does not say that she “rejoices over Samuel” that she prayed for.
I don't say that I am happy because of something I asked for or obtained, but that I rejoice in God who gives it.
What could have caused Hannah to live such a wonderful life with such joy?
Hannah was not disappointed in reality, not discouraged by reality, but looked to God.
Hannah's appearance is well recorded in 1 Samuel 1:10.
Let's read it together.
“Hannah was troubled and prayed to Jehovah and wept”
What did Hannah do?
To whom did Hannah appeal to her distress?
Who did you confide in?
I prayed to God.
I confessed to God.
Please do not focus only on specific problems in your life and the answers to those prayers.
May we be interested in God who knows everything in our lives.
We need to pay attention to God who answers our prayers.
The content of prayer should be God-centered, not self-centered.
Instead of focusing on the problem, we must become centered on God who will solve the problem.
Instead of just focusing on the problem, what will you do when the problem is solved? That's more important.
When Hannah gives birth to a son, that will be the end of her suffering.
If that is the end, Hannah's prayers and answers are her own business.
It should not end here, but it should be a prayer of devotion to God and a prayer that leads to glory to God.
There is real satisfaction here.
This is the basis of complete joy and gratitude.
Do you guys have a problem?
Is there anything that discourages you?
Are there problems in your life that are bothering you?
Please pour out your heart to God.
Come to God and weep and pray.
Come to God and weep.
God solves the problem.
gives you peace.
brings joy.
Hannah was an unhappy woman before she met God.
She was a miserable woman.
She was a shameful woman.
But I met God.
I became a happy woman because God was with me.
She became a woman who had something to say.
She became a woman praising God.
I hope that all of us who are here today will live a wonderful life just like Hannah.
I hope that your sorrow will turn into a life of joy.
I hope that your discouragement will change and you will live a life of hope.
I hope that failure will turn into a life of success.
Then why will our lives change like this when we meet God?
The reason is described in detail in verse 6 and below of today's text.
“The Lord kills and gives life; he brings down into the grave and raises up.”
God has the power to kill us and the power to save us.
Can you guys take my life as I please?
You can never do that.
We never know what will happen when.
God is in control of our lives.
Because he is such a person, we must meet God and draw close to God.
Verses 7-8, “The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he humbles and exalts. He raises the poor from the dust; he lifts the needy from the dung heaps, he makes them sit with nobles, he makes them sit on thrones of glory. The pillars of the earth are the LORD's. The LORD has established the world upon it.”
God is in control of everything in this world
The God who breaks the bow of a warrior and gives strength to those who have fallen.
God makes the rich starve, and the starving is full.
God who gives birth to many children is weak, and gives children to those who do not have children.
A God who kills and gives life.
God who makes poor and makes rich.
God who lowers and exalts.
God raises up the poor and makes them nobles.
He is the God who rules and rules the world.
Everything in the world is in God's hands.
He knows everything and governs according to the good will of God.
We believe that life's ups and downs are all in God's hands.
Do we have such confidence and faith?
Do you believe in a God who restores by changing the difficulties and sufferings we are experiencing now and even the unspeakable circumstances?
Hannah met God in prayer.
It's not that his problem was solved.
Because he met God who solves his problems.
Now, no matter what problems come, I can not fall down or get discouraged.
Because he knew that all problems were in God's hands.
It is because I met a reliable God who takes care of God's people.
Hannah's God is our God who is still alive today.
May God's praise be abundant in our prayers.
We hope that the more we praise God, the more abundant our life will be.
Today, Hannah met God and changed her miserable life into a happy and wonderful life.
In the name of Jesus, I pray that all of us who participated in this place today will meet God, meet Jesus, and live a happy life, a life full of joy, and a truly wonderful life.
