Title: Leadership Ethics (Phil 02:1-8)
Content I have a lot of thoughts about the issue of 'leader's ethics'. First, why did he give the question of leadership ethics to the person who resigned from the leadership position? Next, what kind of leader are you referring to? Thirdly, the leader's ethics' D!
Leader! If 'a person who points and leads' is a leader, then there are far more people in the world who lead than those who receive guidance.
Even if you don't know a child, when you are a child, you will all become other people's leaders.
Sometimes there will be a tragedy in which the blind lead the blind, but there are certainly many more leaders in the world. We will deal with the problem, thinking that leaders include not only the clergy of our church, but also lay leaders.
A leader's ethics is one of the elegant and noble words of 'ethics'. Ethics and morals are synonymous with words or ethics, which seem to be academic and metaphysical, and morals are practical and metaphysical. same. This may be my wrong feeling. I don't remember hearing from any teacher that there was such a distinction.
The dictionary teaches that ethics refers to “human morality.” So, like morals, the word ethics is only used for humans. It is said to have come from a word, which refers to the actions, actions, and habits that people usually do in Edo, which has the same meaning.
In English, the word 'morality' that we use commonly is called 'moral', and that word is 'mores' in Latin, which refers to habit, habit, and character. And if you look at it, the English etymology of the words ethics and morals is similar.
The words conduct and character, although not the same, refer only to different aspects of one fact. Some have called behavior and character two pillars of human moral life. Behavior is not only an expression of character, but also a way to shape that character. A person's personality is a system in which his will, his habit, that is, a person's desires and activities, is consciously organized.
Thus, the terms ethics and morals refer to human behavior 'behaviour', character' and behavior', that is, human behavior and great people. The ethics we are talking about here means to apply the Christian ethics, that is, the way of life that Jesus Himself showed us, to our daily personal and social life.
There will be no leaders in our church who do not know how to lead an ethical life with certain ethical thoughts. Therefore, here
I think of it as saying what I want from the leaders of the religious circles of this country who are in the process of building a second republic after the 4.19 Revolution, and I will write down a few things.
1. Don't be branded a dictator.
Dictators are self-righteous, seemingly wise, foolish self-righteous people. This must not be me There is no one who can do this better than me. So, I am obsessed with the foolish self-righteous ideology that I must do this work, and I work with an attitude of no-nonsense. There is no way to recover from work, even if someone, not a student, opens your eyes. A dictator is also bad, but the people who set up the so-called 'veil of humanity' and satisfy their lusts, and the mothballs who seek their own profit by flattering them, are also bad.
2. Don't be cruel to the weak.
It belongs to a foreigner. It will be said that flattering those who seem strong and cruel to those who are weak are one of the adverse effects of the social events on us.
Taking care of widows and orphans and helping the poor is a consistent teaching in the Old and New Testaments.
3. Become a crusade in the establishment of the Second Republic The historical crusade was an expedition from 1096 to about two centuries that was launched by the queens of Western Europe to save the Holy Land of Palestine from the Muslims. In the 4th and 5th crusade, there was also a children's crusade.
Christians will have to work together to become a crusade of justice against all the injustices in this country that is trying to build a new democracy, and all leaders will have to take the lead as their leaders.
4. Pay attention to what you write widely.
There is a saying in the Bible not to play with the tongue, but there is no warning against writing with care. Perhaps it is because he thought that someone who knows how to be careful with his words would refrain from writing.
Since 4.19 we have been seeing a slew of naive statements pouring in every day. Some of them use only childish and vulgar words and use threats and intimidation that they can't handle, giving the reader the impression that "the text is dirty. To write something like this after eating..."
There is a saying in Westerners, "If it's an important article, I read it again after sleeping in one night." It must be applied to a statement like that. It may be true that once a person has been slandered, he seldom seeks guidance from those who slander him.
5. What should a leader's face look like As Jesus said when he saw Nathanael, a leader should have a face free from poverty and a peaceful and kind face. We have a good saying 'not on the outside'.
Among the stories we heard from preachers since we were young, there is a story that someone met a person with an angelic face and found a devilish face after many years, and it turns out that it was the same person. It would be an example of what appears on the face as the thought inside. Some faces you can see all the time, and others you don't want to see after a long time. There can be no leader more requested than a leader who has the heart of Jesus and resembles Jesus, who shows Jesus to people and leads them to him.
